    This was exactly what I needed today. That variation of Malasana with the blocks as a counterweight felt like medicine for my lower back. I will definitely be trying that one again. David, you are always a pleasure to practice with. May your day be full of little smiles too! 😊💖✨

      Hi Snehal! I'm very happy to hear that you're enjoying my videos! There is such a wide variety of subject matter that yoga books cover - philosophy, meditation, physical postures, mantra... so it's difficult to know what your particular interest is. However two classic yoga books that I really enjoy are by B.K.S Iyengar - "Light On Yoga" is classic text that is required reading for many yoga teachers in training, and yoga students who want to dive deeper into the practice. "Light On the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali" is also by B.K.S. Iyengar and it delves more into philosophy and the sutras of Patanjali which is the basis for the modern practice of yoga. I hope this helps! Your way of teaching is very holistic I believe. Do you also do online training? I would love to join. There are so many things which require a Guru in yoga. Please lemme know. Thank you again 🙂

    I may have cervical spondylitis and lumbar spondylitis as I have severe pain in lower back .please recommend some exercise..

      Hi Manjushree! I'm sorry that you're suffering with this pain. I recommend consulting with a doctor or physical therapist regarding exercises and stretches for your specific diagnosis. There are just too many variables for me to address over the internet. I will say that the stretches and exercises in this video have helped me and many of my students with a variety of causes of sciatic pain, however it's important to listen to your body to see if they are right for you. Therapeutic and beneficial stretches and movements should feel intuitively good in your body. And stretches and movements that feel painful or unreasonable in your body indicate they are not appropriate for your condition. Just go slowly, and listen to your body. In this way your body will guide you to toward whats appropriate. I hope this helps!
