I, too already loved the discussion about the stages of loving the scriptures. For me, it was a somewhat similar process. It's good to know that even someone such as Professor Millet had to undergo the same. And see where he is now in his love of the scriptures.
It was an excellent episode, learnt a lot and really appreciate DrMillet. The episode of Patrick Mason was also incredible, great dialogue and interaction between Kerri and Patrick
Thank you to both Bro. Millet and you, Bro. Muhlestein! Chapter 40 has been dear to me ever since my mother passed when I was 39 years old. I was in so much pain I was miraculously lead to verses 11-12 in chapter 40. God does know us personally and He does answer our prayers. 😊. Goodness flows from the scriptures as we search them diligently.

Regarding "taken home to that God who gave them life" Couldn't it be Jesus too? When our 14 year old son died, our son in law administered a blessing to me. After a long pause, he said, "Seth was received in the arms of the Savior. " I felt the truthfulness of this mightily. Certainly, Jesus gave each of us life when we became His sons and daughters. 🤍
There is definitely something to that, and there are lots of reports of the Savior being the person people see upon death. This is a great suggestion. Thanks!
