Thank you ma'am for telling the right way to journel. I used to think that is my habit of journaling worthless? But now I know that it is not. I developed this habit last year when suddenly on March 14 2023, I came up with an idea to write down all that I had experienced in my school years. And after writing for three days and sending it across to my school teachers with whom I am still in touch. The feedback I received, encouraged me to write more and from 16 August the same year, journaling became a weekly routine wherein I ensure that once a week, I take out some minutes to reflect and write about how the past week has been for me. And this is helping me to also keep getting better at writing since I am in my second year of graduation and wish to become an IAS officer.

Fantastic video. I have been writing journal for myself since long time it's very useful in decluttering my mind for sure. I am also written" Gratitude Letters", which I have shared with the person addressed in the letter. Extended this to unsent letter writing, which has helped me to overcome my bad or negative feelings about the person or situation which I can't express or share . Many thanks for bringing out such a great concept, which definitely will help to be a different better person and will help in changing perspective about lot of life. i have been journaling form past one year. i started this journey all of sudden with no idea the why and what of the journey. i began this process digital. total number of words in digital crossed lakh and i have written one book complete by last month. the issue is that i cannot find any significant improvement in my life. i analysed it and atleast found the reason why i started. i.e to have of a record of my life that can be read by me and others after my death. yeah journaling sometimes did help with clear off the tangles that was formed because of stress and overthinking but i couldn't find any significant or crucial productive improvement. can you please make a video or assist us about the classification of journaling. the productive side of journal and direct this process to a productive way.
I understand your concern. From what I can gauge from your comment is that your style of journaling was more like maintaining a diary. If you want to cause a transformation in a particular area of your life like daily habits, personal development, love, money etc, you have to write the specific journal. Pls start with that 🙏

Hi. 1. It really depends on the areas you’re struggling with as journaling brings things in your awareness. Gratitude and Food journal I feel is a must. You can do goals, emotions, experiences, finance and fitness too. 2. Both. Slowly it should come into your doing too, while you’re doing something you try to be in the observer mode of your own actions.

Hi. By maintaining a food journal. I tracked everything I ate in the day. It helped me see the wrong things I was ingesting at wrong times, frequency of snacking, ordering in, going out, not eating enough fibre and poor water intake. It helped me structure my schedule & food better.

N also does it have to be in question answer type of a thing where we question ourselves n try to give answer consulting our smarterselves? Questions in the form of prompts I mean.
It’s a very personal practice. There is no right or wrong. For me, writing in points works better coz I can then focus on on thing at a time and then move to the next thing. Questions do help you to think better. However, It doesn’t need to be questions always, it can be only the statements too. There is no right or wrong way to do it. Hope this helps ❤️

Step 1 . Start reading more and more. Variety of books, newspapers, articles etc. 45mins - 1hr everyday. Step 2. Start writing atleast 3 pages a day. Could be about one topic or 3. But as you progress make it about 1 topic and you can increase the pages too. Step 3 start speaking. I understand you don’t have an environment but you could speak in front of the mirror, call customer care executives and choose the English options. Enquire about credit cards, insurance plans, international roaming, repairing washing machine, anything. Find innovative solutions. Step 4 - do all 3 steps everyday. Hope this helps!

Step 1 . Start reading more and more. Variety of books, newspapers, articles etc. 45mins - 1hr everyday.
Step 2. Start writing atleast 3 pages a day. Could be about one topic or 3. But as you progress make it about 1 topic and you can increase the pages too.
Step 3 start speaking. I understand you don’t have an environment but you could speak in front of the mirror, call customer care executives and choose the English options. Enquire about credit cards, insurance plans, international roaming, repairing washing machine, anything. Find innovative solutions.
Step 4 - do all 3 steps everyday.
