- Aram Il'yich Khachaturian (Russian: Ара́м Ильи́ч Хачатуря́н; Armenian: Արամ Խաչատրյան, Aram Xačatryan, 6 June [O.S. 24 May] 1903 - 1 May 1978) was a Soviet Armenian composer and conductor. He is considered to have been one of the leading Soviet composers.
Work: Triumphal Poem (1950)
Allegro vivace con moto
Orchestra: BBC Philharmonic
Conductor: Fedor Glushchenko - เพลง
This piece is triumphal in every sense. From never heard of to my absolute favourite. 🎉
Kachaturian: Monumental!!
Hard, though, even for Khatch himself, to match his 'Spartacus"....I wonder which came first?
Aram Khachaturian is Perfect, as Armenian mount..... ARARAT

I love it! So over-the-top! Just when he could have ended it, 7-minutes in, he goes on with all that Russian angst. HOW FUN! I LOVE IT!!
Russian? Who is Russian?
@@zarapapazyan4580 theyve mistaken this great armenian composer for a russian
You wish!
"kacthy" (my nickname for Aram) is not liked in the USA at this election cycle. "Symphony #3 and "Triumphal Poem" are his best in this genre.
wow!!!! quelle merveille !!! pourquoi cette oeuvre est bannie des programmes concerts? les prémices de Spartacus sont audibles

FANTASTIC, THERE IS SO MUCH EXCELLENT MUSIC DISGUSTINGLY UNPLAYED OR UNDERPLAYED MUSIC, WHERE AS BEETHOVEN AND A FEW OTHER COMPOSERS MUSIC IS CHILDISHLY FAR TOO MUCH OVERPLAYED DAY IN DAY OUT BY CONCERT HALLS AND RADIO STATIONS, WHO LET PEOPLE THINK THAT NO OTHER COMPOSERS MUSIC IS AVAILABLE .MOST CONCERT HALL AND RADIO STATION BOSSES NEED KICKING OUT OF THEIR JOBS.
Yes, in a way this is where youtube has unwittingly over taken the concert hall and the radio stations, most of my greatest musical experiences are on youtube now. I just got so sick of going to live concerts to here Beethoven's Eroica, Schuberts Unfinished and Dvoraks New World over and over again...
There is truth in this.
How much did you pay to listen to this or to keep an infrastructure intact?
Beethoven will never be played enough.

Es Sinfonia nr.4 del armenio,es super, como mil mangostas redentoras de algún planetoide, jajajajjaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whew! Khachaturian at his best--or worst, depending on how you feel about state-sanctified excess. His own "Marche Slav" which even Pyotr Ilich admitted was "a little noisy."
As noisy as our feelings when we survived the genocide. While entire Europe and Christianity was watching us!
Khachaturian has been ignored much too long
胜利!
how dare you to call him "Soviet" composer; he is genius above time and place.
@@MrFullService How do you explain the permanent folkloric armenian references? Sovietic system don't had one national identity. If you learn and listen different armenian academic musician's compositions, you will understand the point. Perhaps, you are trying to glorificate comunism's benefits.
Что не так?
With such highly talented propaganda, great "soviet" artists (AK was Armenian) were guaranteed to stay alive. The main melody, here, can be easily whistled by stalin... and it's spectacular. It therefore passes the test of the Jdanovshchina of 1948. Shostakovich stayed alive by having having the soviet troups assault the Zeelow Heights accompanied by an arrangement of Soluko, stalin's favorite Georgian song (1949 movie THE FALL OF BERLIN).
Could you expand on that a bit? Did Stalin have composers murdered for failing to abide by revolutionary principles applied to art, as he understood them? If no, did any composers end up in Siberia? Just curious, for my own edification. Thanks!
Philippe Renaud Too true, too true. The oppression of the great artists was blot against humanity itself. Not to mention the millions of others who suffered and died under the Soviet regimes.
You are really stupid. You do not know even, that the name of famous Georgian song is SULIKO, but not fucking 'Soluko'.
And that Khachaturian really was a Soviet composer, because Armenia was a part of the USSR.
Do not imagine you know something about Soviet time - you are just an ignoramus.
Go to hell with all your pals.
With all due respect, you are a disgusting, self-promoting butt-wipe. I pray that you will never have any progeny that you can foist your self-aggrandizing junk. Anyway, have a great night.
!! "U" and "I" are one stroke apart on the keyboard. That doesn't forgive you for being an overbearing disgusting troll. Get a life and start to like music again. GEESCH!!!
That's a weird piece. Was he serious or sarcastic ?
