    Hi everyone! I'm happy to know that this is one of my most-viewed videos - because Saga-Arashiyama just has a special place in my heart. Any recommendations that you might want to add? And has anyone of you tried the Hozugawa River Cruise? If yes, how was it? 😍

    Hello. I `m Japanese. in the fall few years before, I had ridden the Sagano romantic train with my friend from Hong Kong as well.
    The autumn foliage season is really beautiful isn't it?
    I live in Yokohama now, but My parents house is in Kyoto. I like to walk along the path of philosophy. thanks!

      Konnichiwa! 😊 Thank you for sharing your experience. Yes, I totally agree with you - this place is really extra beautiful in autumn! 🍂😍 It must be nice to always have a reason to visit Kyoto since your parents are there. It's so beautiful there. ♥️
      I heard the Path of Philosophy is really nice, but sadly I wasn't able to visit that place in my last Japan trip because I ran out of time. Hopefully I can bring my parents there one day and we can visit that spot together! Take care! 😊

    Do we need to pre-book the rickshaw service?

    • @SukiinEconomy
      @SukiinEconomy  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@cheriechan6461 I think you can do on-the-day booking but advance booking is highly recommended so you have better options in terms of time. This is one of the rickshaw tour companies in Arashiyama- ebisuya.com/en_smp/book/

    Hi, which side is the best view for sitting by start from Saga-Arashiyama to Kameoka. (right side or left side)
    Many thanks!

    • @SukiinEconomy
      @SukiinEconomy  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi there! So sorry - late seen! Probably right side because then you would have a view of the JR Hozukyo Bridge (where JR Sagano Line passes through) and the Hozukyo Torokko Station where there are cute Tanuki Statues. Both sides offer an amazing view of the river and gorge though ♥️

    Hello! We are going to Japan (Kansai entrance and exit) next year, and we are planning to visit here and dedicate 1 whole day here. As well as another place in kyoto. Where do you think is it best to spend the nights as we are traveling with our toddler as well :) Thank you!

    • @SukiinEconomy
      @SukiinEconomy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! So sorry, I saw this just now. If you’d like to be close to Kyoto Station but don’t prefer an overly touristy area, I recommend Shimogyo ward. 😊
      If you want something more laidback with the best Kyoto views and dont mind walking, I recommend Higashiyama ward.
      If you have quite a lot of luggage, I think it’s better to stay near Kyoto Station so even if you take a cab, it will be a lot less expensive. I learned that locals find it uncomfortable when there are a lot of tourists with luggage inside the local buses, which is understandable.
      Hope you find the best accommodation for you and your family! Let me know if you have other questions :)

    Can icoca and or suica card can be use in kyoto for trains and buses?

    • @SukiinEconomy
      @SukiinEconomy  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello, yes you can. Although you might also want to consider just getting a one-day Kyoto train and bus pass (JPY1100).
      Here’s a good guide to understanding IC cards:

      There’s a version of Suica that’s designed for short-term tourists (ie Welcome Suica) and based on what I’ve read, you can also use this pretty much anywhere in Japan. It’s only good for a month I think but you dont have to pay the JYP500 deposit 😊

    For the sagano train, which side offer the better view ? The one on the left side or right side ? Thanks

    • @SukiinEconomy
      @SukiinEconomy  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello!👋🏼 If you’re coming from Saga Torokko, I think it’s better to choose the right side so you will have a view of the JR Hozukyo Bridge and Hozukyo Torokko Station. But don’t worry if you run out of seats, because both sides offer an awesome view of the river and gorge 👍🏻
