I had long e-boy hair which looked really good on me, but soon I noticed that my widows peak started receding more and more and that my hair in general just started thinning. I heard many stories before about how balding guys always go through multiple stages, like denying that they re balding, then accepting it and hiding it with a hat or a beanie and then just shaving it all off years later. So I decided fuck it, I'm not going to go through all that shit and be in denial for years looking like I'm fuckin' Montgomery Berns from the simpsons, so I bought a hair trimmer and agreed to a sleepover at my friends place where we had a shit ton of laughs just fucking around with my hair. But then it was done. I was completely bald. And you know what? I liked it. I have been working out every second day for quite a while before shaving my head, and I have always had a good jawline, plus I have always been wearing leather jackets, so the bald head made me look pretty damn intimidating, and you know what? Hey, I've had a similar thing but I started balding at 20yo. I had thinning hair, bald spot, then receding hairline. I still had quite a bit of hair but I was still very noticeably balding. I immediately shaved all my hair off one summer day. I had baby face so I just wore a beanie for awhile til I grew out my beard and mustache. It's incredibly liberating, not feeling dirty because of oily hair, no frustrations from windy days screwing up my hair, no worries of bad hair days in general. I just don't care for having to constantly shave my head :).
@Barfieman362 I dealt with it by just trying to get comfortable with my new image. That'll always be the biggest shocker and can be difficult to get used to. Try taking things step by step, one day, shave what hair you have left and wear a hat if you feel like you need to. Overtime, leave the hat behind. I personally never could pull off wearing hats but a beanie did work well enough for me. Shave and wear a beanie during winter, and when summer comes, you'll have to stop wearing it.
@Harry Snothead I'm bald for a little over a year now, got bald at 25. I didnt really have a legit bald spot but it was so thin at the crown that it really was making me selfconcious, like I could almost physically feel it being there. Also had the sides of my hairline receiding alot. I have to say shaving it off felt really liberating but at the same time it takes some getting used to ofcourse. But it felt so much less uncomfortable as having to worry about it. Like the person from this comment said describes ot perfectly. Always worrying about wind and rain messing up my hair or people behind me seeing the bald spot.. I have to admit I wear alot of caps still I should stop doing that cause everyone says it looks good on me and I don't mind it that much either tbh, I quite like it but it still feels a bit uncomfortable going out with it 😅 Anyway you'll be fine dude!!
I'm pretty much going through the same thing as you. Balding started at 14-15 and it's just getting worse, now I'm 22 and it looks horrible. This video might have pushed me enough to go bald soon, thank you a lot for that!
to be honest,i once had long hair all the way under my ass, then when i was 20 i shaved it all off,and i don't suffer from balding at all ( yet ) . i understand that it must suck not to actually have any control over this BUT i can assure you i never looked back again,it feels so good to not have hair my dude,so don't worry about it,and wouldn't you know, most girls dig it too in my experience,so go for it and don't worry!
For me it's somewhat the same as I'm going through the same phases as my dad did. He isn't bald but also had these huge blank spots or the forehead which just look so bad on me imo.
At work right now. I will shave my head today when i get home. It's been a burden on me for like 10 years now and i'm so sick of it. Thanks for the inspiration my man.
I am so proud of and happy for Radal. This is such a big step and the fact you suffered for so long and now you are finally free and happy with yourself is such a BIG improvement to your whole life and all the aspects of it. Much respect for shaving your head man you look good!
Did literally the same, my hair wasn't that great with a bold spot forming at 16 years. Encountered a lot of similar issues than you described, especially in school. So it bothered me all my life until I was 26 when I just decided to get rid of it. Best decision of my life, welcome to the bald side! Edit: Also really appreciate how open you are about that stuff. That's a video I could've needed like 10 years ago. If any one you in the comments have the same issue and worry too much that you would look bad bald, just do it. It's probably not as worse as you think. You'll get used to it after a week and the feeling you get after being self conscious about your hair for so long will be so freeing. Plus, believe me: People will compliment you about being brave enough to do it. Depending on your age and if you still go to school you might of course encounter a couple of people throwing a joke at you but just own it and they'll forget soon. Would've been the same people who made fun for your bald spot anyway.
Radal my friend! You are as human as anyone like us... I understand how frustrating it would have been coz you have created this cool dude funny guy image infront of your YT family. I appreciate you for being someone who you are. Now you can say that you respect yourself more than your urge to please your subs. Respect to you! Love from India🇮🇳
I shaved my head just a week ago just for the exact same reason. And it's amazing how light and free you feel after you do it. Definitely the best decision (actually I have to update my profile picture).
Radal you actually look fantastic bald and with your progress with loosing weight you're gonna look even better. And with that little bit of facial hair and those glasses makes you look smarter. Keep up the good work.
For someone going through hairloss like me this video really helped me not stress so much about it and breathe for a moment, awesome video bro and mad respect for opening up about your insecurity like that. You're goated!
As someone who has widow peaks of a 40yo at the age of 18, I have mad respect for you. Luckily, I'm not balding, (and I hope I'll never go fully bald), but my hairline has been fucking up ever since I was about 13 and explaining to my friends what a "receding hairline" is at age 14-15, when it started being visible, is honestly traumatizing lol. Although I feel like it's more common nowadays, I still feel like vast majority of people doesn't understand
do u mean in the front, on the sides? since I was like 14/15, I noticed how bad my hairline got, and I noticed it when I took all of my hair and "stretched" it backwards (idk how to word it correctly, not a native speaker), I thought I was balding, that shit was traumatizing lmao. I hope I'm not really balding tho, cause I'm at the same point I was 3 years ago, and I can easily hide that fucked up hairline even when I have short hair. Nonetheless, for the 14 yrs old me, it was the worst thing ever, I got sad af
@@flavioionasc4947 Yup, those are called widows peaks, you most likely have a genetic predisposition for them, just like I do (my dad has huge widow peaks and so did his dad, his dad's dad and so on.. its genetic lol). Stress, the type of shampoo, lifestyle etc. can all directly correlate with your peaks, but it's mostly genetic and outside of expensive hair products, there really isn't a solution to it, just a hair transplant surgery.
It actually looks good, i think the glasses and the beard goes really well with your bald head, don't worry, if people are really your fans they will not stop watching you because of the bald head
Losing your hair is definitely an incredibly hard process for anyone and I appreciate you sharing this with your viewers. Videos talking about these experiences are good for anyone else struggling with hair loss. Good man :)
"I felt free, my hair wasn't a burden anymore" that's how I felt when I shaved my head (buzz cut, depending on when I last cut it, 3-10 mm, looks best at 6 mm). I don't have hairloss (I'm afab so hopefully never will), but my hair has always been a strawy, frizzy mess and one of my biggest insecurities. the best part is, the buzz cut actually looks great on me!! my only regret is not doing it sooner.
This was quite the journey. It can be hard to accept changes in ourselves. Many don’t have to deal with the balding so soon, but at least you get to get it over with! Glad that you’ve gotten comfortable with it, and while you may look different you still look great.
It takes a lot of confidence to admit how you truly feel about the bald appearance. It's very remarkable how you shifted your mind. And plus, I think you absolutely ROCK the look!!!
Watching this video makes me realize how its actually no big deal balding and it shows us that we should be proud with who we are instead of getting all panicked. Thank you Radal for sharing this video💯💯 You definitely earn my respect here
Radal amazing story man,and it really helps other people aswell when you who went through thoose tough times say it. Its alright guys we got to accept ourselves. Keep it up radal, thank you
simply gratifying to see my boy radalovic happy knowing all the bad things that have been happening because of TH-cam. I'm not bald yet, but I imagine this is getting closer and closer to being a reality. It's hard for someone who likes their hair to accept that one day they're going to lose it Much love from Brasil Keep with the good content that I love to re-watch on my free time
Holy damn, Radal ! So i've been a long time fan, i'm 27 now, and i've started experiencing balding patterns since age 17, pretty much same as your situation, and when i joined the army at age 19 i had to shave everything off because i was in the army obviously, but during my service and shortly afterwards i still kept like 2cm of hair, but basically i went through the same situation as you. if you're baldness it noticable and you can't stop and fix it, then simply EMBRACING reality and shaving the disaster away down to 0mm flat is f**king empowering. now i feel very manly, i'm 180cm tall, i'm bald, and i look relatively fit, if that's not manly, then i don't know what is. i'm happy that you've found comfort in embracing yourself and doing the same thing, you look way more attractive fully shaved, and all you need now is to get FIT and maybe even RIPPED, and you'd be swimming in pusi in no time brotha!
You are so pleasant and rational and funny and honest that it make up for your hair! You have a new style without hair and you will get use to it exactly like us to your new look ! You rock bro, don’t give up!!
Thank you Radal, I am in my early 20's and i started to lose my hair. Everytime i saw my hair fall, it depressed me. Specially when there is nothing i can do. after checking your video, you made me feel its okay to be bald and it actually look cool, Thank you very much
10:23 that statement, alongside the MGS music for some reason made me feel emotional and shit. Im feel proud of you brother, like honestly You deserve to feel good and to be free. Keep up the grinding, we all are grinding here and we are with you Radal, on everything ;)
this video was recommended to me at a very important time, im 23 and have been balding slowly since 18 and it never bothered me much before until the last 2 months where it looks bad the crown is almost fully exposed and the front of my hair is thin not to mention i grew my hair out so it makes me feel even worse that i tried to get long luscious hair only for it to just fall out. i wouldn't mind being bald but i would want it to be a choice not for me to be forced to be bald but i guess i'm having a hard time excepting it because i'm overthinking about how my head has bumps on it and everything as well as the gender dysmorphia i have, nothing is going in my favor. but i know the "freeing" feeling you're talking about is real and im ready to shave my head and hope for the best. thank you for making this video and helping me feel like i'm not alone in this and seeing the pictures imo you look better than ever
Radal with no hair just looks right. Side note: I'm 22 now and I haven't experienced any balding yet, I still have a full head of hair, almost shoulder length. I have family members who are bald tho so I'm a little worried about that cause I love my hair. it's one of my favroute features and I don't think I could rock a baldhead like Radal😂
Big + Respect for Radal to open up like this for fans and viewers, I can't even imagine how it was in school and another place, I can say you're very brave Radal, more than me. I remember when I was a 13 years old kid, We had a hair trimmer in the house, and I was so dumb that I try to cut my hair, and then I leave 3 bald places, and when I needed to go to school, I was so afraid that I picked the hat and remembered I needed to hat off in class, and it was the hardest thing to do.
i know you put on a meme persona for the channel, but this video is really wholesome, glad to see you're finally managing to become comfortable with yourself to the point you're able to show it off to everyone what you've been burdening yourself for the last years, no shame in that, you look great Radal keep up the positivity man
I can relate to this. I'm almost 23 now, and have been slowly balding since I was about 16. Takes some big fat balls to go online and show pictures and talk about your insecurities dude. And well done for taking the plunge and shaving your head! You look so much better now. I know how hard it is to do. It took me months of debating it inside my head, and a good 20 minutes sat in front of a mirror with the clippers in my hand before I finally had the courage to run them through my hair. I feel so much better now! Yeah people poke fun and that, but they'll never understand how good I feel now that I am bald :)
I'm somewhere in the middle of your experience, busy losing my hair and A LOT of it. I think I will try your method, shave off piece by piece until I'm completely comfortable with being 100% bald. Thank you for sharing your story, bro. Really appreciate it. Enjoyed eating sosig while watching this vid.
Think you're all right, though. bald + ripped looks tough which I can still pull off. Just need to get more exercise, or still be ripped and keep my hair with Keeps (if it works for me, I know it doesn't work for everyone but worth a try) Thank you for the Bald Cafe channel recommendation, I will surely check them out! Thanks guys, means a lot. 🙏
I totally understand your uncomfort experience with balding, because I've started lossing hair at your same age, same length etc. Be shaved-head is one of the most bad ass things to do in life tho, it's so comfy and practical with showering or with sweat, you can clean up easily and you can dress any kind of cap you want. It can also improve your looking with beard. Watch out for the sun in summer, tho
I'm so glad to see you finally free of that burden, I understand your situation, my brother has a mind case of it too and took the same approach as you so I'm used to it
I'm 19 and I'm facing the exact same situation. My hair started falling about a year ago and now there is a big bald spot on the back of my head and my Widow's peak is also pretty hairless now. I've been feeling so depressed and sad for a long time. Thanks for sharing this RADAL. This was super relatable to me and now I'm going to start a proper hair care routine to avoid complete baldness. P.S. : My head is also shaved right now.
@@fungus2872 Something being rare doesn't make someone cooler than other people. Some people like their hair. I'm personally growing my hair out as I want a specific hair style. I thankfully have really good and thick hair. I know I'd be devastated if I started to bald, I could not imagine myself without hair, it'd look ugly af.
Loved the way you handled everything and finally decided to overcome the insecurities. This video just raised the respect to 10 folds 👏🏻 . keep up the game man you rocking that look 🔥
I started having hair thinning issues at the age 17 or 18, am 22 now and i've got a kinda bad balding spot on the back of my hair close to what you had before, but i'm nowhere as bad as you were. You still look really good and I congratulate you on your weight loss, i also went on a journey from 94kg to 71kg in the span of 2years, got a nicer haircut that more or less helps me keep my bald spot in check and i'm feeling better than ever, keep pushing forward man, you'll do great
As a girl, there is nothing wrong or ugly about men going bald. Some of the most handsome men in the world are bald. You have a nice head shape so you totally make it work! Love your content! Say hi to Babushka 🥰
This was lowkey inspirational. It's not easy to take the step and then be open about it on the Internet. I have a friend that recently decided to just go bald after months of me and my other friend telling him to do so and he also looks way better now. Keep on it! 💪
The freedom of going bald is unmatched. I went bald last year at 26 years old and brother let me tell you: I've recieved nothing but compliments. That fresh shaven head feels astronomically good. 2 years ago I wouldn't dare to think about going bald but now I get comments like: "Did you miss your shave?" This is the new me. People quickly adjusted to it and this is who I am now. Older guys I know walked up to me saying: "I wish I had your courage when it was my time" Being bald is goated. I can take a shower within a minute if I have to. Dry off in the same time. No more stress about bad hair. It rules.
I recently discovered this channel and have watched pretty much every video, so a new uploaded so soon was a nice surprise 👌 You look so much better bald too and I'm sure this video is going to help a lot of people out who are struggling with hairloss
Im in the early-ish stages of male pattern baldness. Idk how long I have left but the crown is definitely thining. I actually look forward to the day I go full bald but Im not quite ready for the commitment yet ( I still have lots of hair so Its not too bad)

I have to admit I wear alot of caps still I should stop doing that cause everyone says it looks good on me and I don't mind it that much either tbh, I quite like it but it still feels a bit uncomfortable going out with it 😅
Anyway you'll be fine dude!!
This helped me a lot and I respect you a lot for taking pride in yourself while sharing your story.

Huge amount of respect, Radal! Not everyone would be so open about a topic that made them uncomfortable for years. Much love man 💪
👍
Rest in peace your father. I'm so sorry for you
For someone going through hairloss like me this video really helped me not stress so much about it and breathe for a moment, awesome video bro and mad respect for opening up about your insecurity like that.

Much love from Brasil
Keep with the good content that I love to re-watch on my free time
Holy damn, Radal !
It's so amazing to see that you feel more comfortable with yourself.
Well Radal honestly Idc if he is bald or not.
His content is what I care about (Btw I like these story times).

this video was recommended to me at a very important time, im 23 and have been balding slowly since 18 and it never bothered me much before until the last 2 months where it looks bad the crown is almost fully exposed and the front of my hair is thin not to mention i grew my hair out so it makes me feel even worse that i tried to get long luscious hair only for it to just fall out. i wouldn't mind being bald but i would want it to be a choice not for me to be forced to be bald but i guess i'm having a hard time excepting it because i'm overthinking about how my head has bumps on it and everything as well as the gender dysmorphia i have, nothing is going in my favor. but i know the "freeing" feeling you're talking about is real and im ready to shave my head and hope for the best. thank you for making this video and helping me feel like i'm not alone in this and seeing the pictures imo you look better than ever

Big respect to you man, I can't imagine losing a hair you handled it like a champ.

Losing your hair doesn't change the fact that your one of the funniest youtuber we still rate you radar losing hair won't change who you are bro.
It's all true but you have to shave every few days which sucks.
