My first time making this recipe, my dough was too soft. My second and third attempts I used 250 grams of flour and had wonderful results. I gotta say, shaping the bagels is not as easy as it seems. Out of my 8 bagels, one or two are perfect. Can’t wait to keep and treasure this recipe forever.
I would have to get a plane ticket and visit Mama Bakery! Well...when you guys decide to open a shop! 😋 When you break it down for us, I feel like I can make this!!! ❤ Your cat certainly could not resist! 😂

I’ve made several batches now and slowly perfecting it every time! My house hasn’t been the warmest lately so some batches haven’t risen as nicely. The blueberry ones weren’t too blueberry for me I used thawed blueberries. Will keep using this awesome recipe though! Thanks for sharing ❤

Hi Tiffy! I tried this recipe but using bread flour. The dough was proofing fine but when I put them into the water bath, the dough kinda shrank and they aren't puffy but flat. What did I do wrong and how can I fix this? Thanks! 😊
I just want to note, if you’re expecting a regular bagel or even similar vibes - they’re very different and quite small! Not that it’s a bad things but just keep your expectations open because they great in their own way!

Are you sure about the measurement? 2 cups flour and 2/3cups of water would make the dough too wet. If i am converted it correctly into grams it becomes 240grams of flour and 155grams of water..

Water amount should be adjusted according to how humid your area is. More humid = less water. More dry = more water
