So here's funny story about me and my friends using super glue 😂😂: So this one day there was a project to do in our class and we have to use super glue to stick things in that project and on the other hand me top stitching super glue in my hands and my friends hand and I told them that it would have the problem was that our hands were kind of rough at that time but eventually our hands so that's why never use super glue too much

Think the tape is thin so the charge still passes through..

The tape used was electric tape . A single layer of it will allow flow of charge through it . Dont expect it to work on regular cellotape
