    I had to do the same for my Tiger XCX. Those inlet caps mad my silencer quieter than stock! As soon as I removed them I got what I paid for. That Akrapovic sound.

    You just removed exhaust tips. Now the finished look of that wonderful looking exhaust is compromised :(

    Did you have to take off the carbon fiber cover to remove the baffles? I have the same slip-on, with the welds in the pipe itself.

    Nice video without the db killer it sounds amazing i like the deep sound
    I havr the leovince carbon on my gc 2014 lc it is so aggressive sound
    How much cost this exhaust and is it europaelln spec or UK spec

    Have the same silencer, great vid but I have a question… I’ve got the bolts out but the db killers seem very well pressed into place and aren’t coming out at all. How did you get them loose?

      I just pulled..as long as your dB killer isn't welded like others may have. Sometimes, there's a weld holding it.

      Oh ok. I did wonder if the little tac weld for the bolt may have gone a bit deeper but can’t really see to tell.
      As it is it’s not budging at all and being recessed in the carbon cap I can’t really get a grip of it. Trying to avoid drilling out rivets for the end cap

      @Stark Raving Dazza I didn't have to drill the rivets out of the carbon cap for sure. At most, it would be welds but on the bolt itself holding the bolt in place. After that, it should be just a matter of pulling.

      I’ve managed to get one out pretty easy but the other is jammed fast. Tapped round it a little to see if it’d shock it loose and managed to push it IN a mm so at least I know it’s not welded lol.
      Need something long enough to use as a drift I think 🤔

    Auctally the baffle adds power lol it’s hard to understand why exactly but think of it as a water hose fully open water doesn’t come out far but put your thumb over it shoots out the water further

      I have to disagree with your theory, the more you let the air out of engine the better it run but louder it gets. If you put buffle on the pipe it puts little pressure inside the engine thus less air comes out (little less considerably nothing really made difference to the bike) but it sound lesss louder.

      Its minor, its deeper sounding now but I knew I was buying it for the looks more than anything.

    can i know how u release the welded screw ? Any specific tools ? electric cutter wont fit that space right ? wondering how..

    Hi, is that akrapovic euro4? Can dbkiller be removed without problems? With dbkiller does the sound show a difference with the standard? Thank you!

      Euro 3 baffles screw is outside of the cap. Euro 4, hidden inside of the carbon cap.

      Yeah the camera microphone doesn't capture it well..it sounds great in person. Just enough loudness

      They are very weak, I have removed the baffles myself.
