I put newer plastic skidoo skis on it the other day. That would be the only mod I'd recommend. The Phazer skis are steel and they eventually wear out. Plus the plastic skis are lighter.

I love my old phazer identity the same as this one only my stickers are green with a little white
I had an 86 phazer and 91 phazer 2. the Indy trail was a little bit faster but these units were bullet proof.
We dont get alot of snow here but every year my dads old phazer starts up and it runs actually incredible puts a honda 4 stroke to shame its wicked
Nice. I just picked up the exact same year Phazer last week. I was looking for a winter restoration project.
All parts still available. Fun sled. Goes about 70 mph. Nice and light.

I have one but it is a bit nicer than that very good sled!!
I wish mine wasn't beat up!
I have had many Yamaha oil pumps go out. That's probably why the last owner disco.d it. He blew the engine
