That air gun would have been so nice back in the days of summer when you couldn't get the bake booth to cool down after the first time. I can't wait to get some of this candy black
Funny.. I recently used a couple of the techniques showed here. Dusted some Candy Black over Quicksilver Chrome to make some flames a bit darker. Became a cool purply black Chrome kind of. On another project I added some Wicked Blue to Candy Poison Green to get a more emerald looking tone. I didn't have any Candy Emerald Green, so I had to improvise. One of the things I like with Createx paint is that you can just mix whatever you have.
Could you do a video on mix the candy 2o black with a cobalt blue and a midnight blue. I am looking for a very dark black with a hint of blue in the sun..I don't want the blue to take over in the sun but I do want to see the blue..
You'd be best off making your own test panel. W e make videos to show technique and some color mixes, but as there's endless color mix options, ultimately its up to the artist to test their own color mixes. Thank you.
Yes, candy2o can be applied over a solvent-based paint. For more, please see our application guide and candy2o tech sheet at www.creatextech.com. Thank you.
It always blows my mind how much learning you guys cram into the videos. I honestly get so much out of them and they’re a fun watch too.
Thanks!
