Tbh kpop nowadays is becoming a dance competition, it’s nice to appreciate a intricate yet simple and elegant choreography like this. It’s smooth and matches the song

I think the dance is definitely simple but perfect at telling a story and progressing it from start to end.
It expresses the meaning of the song rather than just be something cool to accompany it in my opinion
I agree the song is simple but it isn't an easy song to sing considering she used falsetto a LOT. That is a vocal technique A lot of people don't use. Her switch from falsetto to chest voice is impressive but people don't understand this! 😭💥💥

I personally love how simple all aspects of her solo is. Jisoo has barely able to shine in the groups project, with her vocals who mostly buried by the high pitched songs, also less screentime and focused performance on the group stage (because she had a quite little lines). This is just like a very basic show on what jisoo actually able to do and showcase in her performance either in stage presences or vocals.
The songs sound simple but i haven't find any cover that can do flower songs just like jisoo did, there is one or two who try to mimic her singing but they didn't really replicate it all. The songs itself didn't only shine with the beat but also jisoo vocals being able to delivered nicely with that husky and her beautiful head voice.
Now at least we could hear jisoo singing an ost on drama. The company had no reason for rejecting any songs project for her just because she haven't had a solo yet!!!!

Agree!!!! She redefine kpop culture at this point coz if you say kpop, it says beat drop and then heavy dance choreos for the hook and doesn't sound like a real music at all. But this is a song, easy to listen and such a song to attract every people, not just kpop fans.

The choreo suits the song perfectly, it's something new and refreshing. We are used to seeing kpop crazy choreos, accept something new for a change
❗📛📛The vocals, dancers, cameras, and lighting is perfect! I notice how when she says her hand and the dancers turn their heads followed by their bodies. It's like an imitation of when the wind blows flowers on a field, they bend in the same direction. Also the caterpillar link and butterfly dance at "sallaeng sallaeng..." Also how they close and open their hands shows the closing and opening of the flower at its bloom😍😍😍Everything was beautiful. I love the high note after "sallaeng sallaeng..." it's simply perfection 💯💯💯

I agree, it's low key but it's very Jisoo-esque, elegant and just enough sass to tell the tale. This is Jisoo's story, not the company's nor anyone else's lol 😊. Tho it seems the last several Blackpink MV choreos have been very TikTok-friendly Lol 🤔😆.

I'm pretty sure this song and dance where tailored for Jisoo and tiktok.
This is like the "Quite/silent luxury brands" concept in fashion; if you know you know. Don't need jumps and difficult moves for know it a good song and dance choreograpy.

i loved the dance performance video, the choreo was fabulous and so were the dancers and the backdrop and the camerawork & everything honestly!!! and most importantly i feel jisoo's dancing here was really good, tbh the mv had moments of awkward movements which i would attribute to a possible rushed process with the tour and all and i could end up getting hate for pointing out but in this perf video i didn't see a shred of awkwardness or uncertainty. i totally agree with the simplicity in the choreo statement, this new gen of fans always think like oh hard core dancing and like crazy hyped stuff is what makes a performance good or worse, what makes stage presence...and while hard core dancing is good and all, simple choreos and simple music isn't bad either especially when it emphasises the meaning of things. i'd rather my idol dance, rap and sing comfortably while delivering a good performance rather than being forced to be in a dance competition to stand out and hurt their bodies especially when not properly trained.
