Have the same intermittent problem cylinder 4 misfire I replaced wires , plugs, and coil pack so far the verdict is still out ? Im almost 90% certain if it comes back its an injecter and or associated wiring? Its very infrequent so much you can put 8k on the car and its fine only to do it again ? Its not a pushrod issue in my situation.
Diagnostic process... swap wire. See if misfire moves. If not swap spark plug. See if misfire moves. Lastly fuel injector swap if its still there mechanical issue.
I brought my car to advanced auto parts and they told me that the code was po305 which was a misfire in cylinder #5,so I brought it to a Chevy dealer and he said that the wire was not on properly.I replaced the front sparkplugs by myself and a friend helped me with the back ones which are a pain to do,good luck all.
@@Omar-tz6sl they usually crack when being removed. Horrible design by gm. I'm glad your is just a tune up. This car had misfire issue 7 years ago and plugs and wires resolved it. Also had a throttle body issue causing dead spots in the pedal awhile back
If your looking at engine it's the one closest to steering wheel I believe. Yeah there are 2 10mil nuts holding rail down then old o rings there are probably rotted on. Inside the rails and manifold. Goodluck
this vehicle is a pain in the a** the fricking injector rail is under the frickin manifold. had this issue with a 09 and cyl 5 in the back, what a fricking nightnare.! 5 weeks and still isnt right. WATCH your WIRES, they are brittle and you wil F them up moving them to change your plugs! then youll have njector issues and fricking fuel comming out of your exhaust.
The answer is a mechanical misfire. Unfortunately these these cars aren't worth the tires there on. And in all of Ontario canada there was only 1 High mileage engine available. So Unfortunately this car is no more. These cars are known for getting loose valve guides which cause the valve to wonder and causes the valve seat to.stop sealing. Could have a bent valve. Possible lifter failure although I doubt it.
You’re wrong. I’m a mechanic and there is a way to test an injector. You listen to it with a stethoscope while it’s running and you can hear that it’s not operating a mechanic you are not.

I have a p0353. New coil, wires and spark plugs. Had multiple miss fires before changing all that.
Great work man. I have something similar here in the shop. thanks for the info bro. hey. what model scanner is the one you show on the video.?
Autel mx606. It's pretty good for light duty.
Did you ever try crank sharft position sensor
I did not. But usually a bad crankshaft position sensor affects all cylinders not just 1.
I did heads on equinox #8 last week. I didn’t change plugs.
What kind of scan tool do you use
Autel mx808
I have misfire cylinder 1. What do I do?

They are by far the hardest wires to do. There right there yet they are like welded on .
Hey, I have the same code on Number 5, misfire under load. Did changing the plugs fix it?
@@Omar-tz6sl keep us updated. These engines are known for valve issues
@@MyHomeGarage Had the spark plugs changed yesterday, and that fixed the misfire one of the plugs was cracked
