- By now everybody is well aware of the signs. But it seems that at least one girl just refuses to believe they're real. What happens next could hardly be a surprise. READ THE FAQs BEFORE COMMENTING

Q: Why are cars towed from your lot?
A: Because they're parked illegally and take up space our customers need, 24 hours.
Q: But it's night-time. Businesses are closed at night. Do you really have to tow at night?
A: Yes. This business is NOT closed at night. It's very common for techs to visit in the overnight times in order to do maintenance on servers and systems. It's also possible that deliveries may need to be made during after-hours times.
Q: How do you know if it's a customer or not?
A: There is various technology at work to help with this. But the simplest answer is that if they're not in the building and they haven't checked in with the tech desk, their car doesn't belong in the lot.
Q: You suck.
A: That's not a question, but I get the point. And I've heard it all before. I understand you think you've got a witty, original insult for me. You probably don't. Save yourself the humiliation.
Q: Do you read the comments?
A: Sometimes against my better judgement, generally, yes.
Q: Why don't you just rent out spaces and make money?
A: Because that would eliminate parking spaces for the real customers of the business. It's not worth the few bucks.
Q: Do you get paid a fee or kickback for the towed cars?
A: No.
Q: Are there signs posted about not to park?
A: Yes. No fewer than 6. Usually more if they're not damaged or destroyed.
Q: Your signs are misleading. Do they say 24 hours? Should they be mounted differently?
A: The signs specify 24 hours / 7 days a week. They're mounted in accordance with local laws.
Q: How many cameras do you have?
A: More than 60. Some you can see, some are hidden.
Q: What kind of cameras do you use?
A: A lot of different kinds, based on the application.
Q: Do you feel bad for these people who get towed?
A: Most of the time, not really.
Q: Why are you making fun of the people who get towed?
A: I'm not. I'm posting the videos because I think they're entertaining and educational.
Q: How come you never post videos of cars that belong there?
A: Because that wouldn't be entertaining at all. It would be completely boring.

A: Sometimes we do! It all depends on if we are able to catch what's happening live, but the company's techs have their jobs to do and are not always available to have their eyes glued to the parking lot cameras and be able to run outside.

RE: T-shirt. How much and where? I need one too. My daughter at 7yrs, farted on our way to a park after purchasing popsicles, it was a little louder than normal. She calmed.... "Mom, to air is to human" I nearly dropped my frosty treat from my mouth. That was the beginning of our visit just moments into the playground swings when she spotted a man not bagging his dogs poo. She put the two fingered eye symbol to her face, turned her wrist and pointed at him in a gesture sign... "I see you". All I could do was cover a laugh for her spontaneity and be proud of her for the years of deliberate embarrassment I suffered her through by just doing my job as a mom.
If she understood it at her age.... I feel sorry for my grandchildren.

That is the problem. You have to pick a Friday or Saturday evening and hope for the best. Might not be any selfish twits out there that night. I'd love to do it, too! Get a group of us, and we could visit and not be bored. If we stayed long, we'd have to find nearby restroom facilities. I'm not peeing in the Pee Corner on camera!

I used to work private security, PEOPLE DO NOT READ SIGNS, they think they are entitled to try and get away with doing what they want and it always brings a smile to me to see some idiot get towed away or get a ticket when they park in handcap and the local police decide to drive by

That would be fun, but per the other response, most states do not permit audio recording without the consent of each person being recorded. While there may be vagaries regarding public spaces and/or posting signs, it's still not worth the potential liability.
He stated his bosses are fine with him using video, but not audio. There are microphones.
Maybe it's from growing up in LA, but I'm always amazed at people who park in spots with signs that that say [one way or another] "Hi there, we'll tow your car if you park here." I mean what is the thought process? "Nah, you won't, it's a bluff, I'll just take your private parking place and you'll have to accept that."

I used to work @ an answering service. The tears the drama "they took my carrrrrr" madamu need to call the tow company in the morning on Monday. Heaven help u on a Friday nite or weekend. They provide fees besides towing storage etc by the hour! U end up paying over +$500. That was back in 2000! Don't Park at Tow Zones! Class Dismissed 😎 subscribed!
I was working at a gas station years ago and a guy parked blocking the pumps. He went next door to another business. I told his friend who came inside he needs to move his car. He said he ain’t. I said I’ll give him 30 mins before I call the tow truck. They said go ahead and tow. Two hours I waited then I had it towed. They came in and I gave them the tow truck business card. They ended up paying $129 for the tow and $60 in storage fees.

Here in Finland pretty much nobody I know pay parking fines unless the fine is from public traffic warden. Private traffic wardens have to prove who was driving. CCTV is not valid evidence often.

I once layed my seat back and was taking a light nap at a curbside parking about to expire, when a SCUMBAG in a tow truck backed up to my car without seeing me and was preparing to tow my car .

It is unbelievable that a channel is based entirely on videos showing people disregarding the no parking signs and then having their vehicles towed again, yet it is kind of mesmerizing
Presuming it was OK to park there has anyone noticed how many of these chuckle heads will take up two "spaces?"
When I drove a cab we knew all the condos and businesses near night spots that towed. It was found money.
They would get into the cab, MFing everyone (including me cuase taxi drivers were in on it). "I'm not paying to get my own f@%&ing car! I'll beat their ass!" So on and so forth.
I'd let them rant and then gently remind them that exploding at the tow lot would have zero effect and they would still be in the same boat after their tirade. Besides, you were talking through bullet proof glass and steel gates. You weren't getting in until the tow lot said you were.
When they calmed down I would always ask, "Did you see the signs?"
4 out of 5 times the response was, "Yeah but I didn't think they meant it."
Am I the only one who hasn't spotted any paint lines to denote where the "spaces" are located? Any place I've ever seen without lines becomes a free-for-all.
Even where there are lines people like to disregard them and park how and where they want anyway.
I used to tow years ago. We had a huge blue pitbull. When loudmouthed assholes walked in bitching up a storm, all he usually needed to do was stand up and look at them, and they shut right up. (We also had a .357 that resided under the counter, just in case.)

Tow company really being reckless dragging these car while they’re in park. Just an FYI for everyone, if they damage your car while towing it, it’s their responsibility, no matter what they try to tell you.
Parking (hand brake) locks rear wheels, "Park" on an automatic transition locks drive wheels.
So "Park" alone on a FWD car only locks the front wheels and allows the rear wheels to roll freely.
Parking in restricted area is one thing. But scratching, and maybe even fucking someone's transmission, is another thing. I'm wondering how they would tow slammed car.

You know what is amazing, is that we never see a delivery truck rock up at night. It's more pleasurable to call the tow truck just for fun. Very possessive of their parking spot at night.

This doesn't really suprise me one bit, seeing how majority of drivers ignore all types of road signs, so to expect them to know how to read english is a huge leap for them. They barely know what a stop sign looks like and think it's a yield sign.

I worked near a casino - 24/7 operations in IT. I would watch the cars park illegally & then 1 by 1 were towed away. When I went home at dawn they would come out & see just space LOL.

They think the property owners don’t have the right to tow them, think again. Some folks also think it cost the business money to have them towed, think again. The cost to the business is zero. Tow companies charge you not the business. There is zero liability to the business. It’s private property and as long as the business has signs posted that you will be towed, you will be towed. It also applies to the business owners or his/her agent verbally telling you to move or be towed, whether signs are posted or not. I had a business where a car with no plates parked for two days straight. I called police before I towed to make sure it wasn’t stolen. Police service technician told me he didn’t know if I could tow. I said watch me. Called the first tow company in the phone book. They said will be there in five minutes. Towed.

@@eurosonly If the owner towed a cop car parked on his property, honestly, he/she is an idiot. If there were any vehicle you should give exemptions to, it would be emergency vehicles. I'd be surprised if they don't automatically get exemptions, considering they can literally park in the middle of the street if necessary. And, even if they're parked in your lot on their lunch break. Do you really want to ruin a cop's day? If a cop decides he likes having his lunch in my parking lot, I'll fucking dedicate a spot to him. Because I doubt anyone's going to illegally park next to a police cruiser. I bet their vision and reading comprehension skills get a massive boost when there's a police presence. Nor are they going to rob me with a police cruiser in the parking lot. Or an ambulance. Or a fire truck.

For tow-aways. & repos I always kept a couple gallon jugs of liquid soap...you puddle it behind the tires & the vehicle slips back like a slimy fish without harming the transmission or making burning a flat spot on the locked tires...hook up check ✔ if parking brake is on and book.
Soap is faster than go jacks.
Unfortunatly the signs say clearly vehicles will be towed at your expense & not liable for content or damage.....thats why butchers like that driver don't care if they fuctditup or not.
Signs don't change law, this happened in Texas and in texas the law is that the towing companies are responsible for all damage due to any tows that cause damage, they arent supposed to tow a vehicle if they know they will damage it.
The sign is saying that the company the sign is at isn't liable for damages to your vehicle, not that the towing company isn't liable for damages.
