A bloody refreshing video on trucking, thanks guys! No shite approach. Will be watching your videos, the answers are all within. Keep well. See you blokes on the road soon!
I have always wanted to work in America and I kept looking and looking and I finally got a greencard sponsorship from a company in USA ! I am currently on the long period on the process of the greencard . But I have signed the contract and can’t wait for the American dream to come true!! 🙏
@Jim Bob honestly no not really. But you have to see it in different views as the cost of living is cheaper as well as fuel compared to UK .. But you can always honour your agreement and leave and apply for a different company with more money. I always believe you start at the bottom and work your way up like most jobs

Good video lads, I have a question for the lad who works for bison, can you have your own truck & still work for bison or do you have to drive Bison’s truck?
@kullysidhu5644 I'm afraid I can't answer that question and I can't get in touch with goose anymore he's gone AWOL, but I have seen some of bison's trailers with different trucks on the front so maybe they do do traction only
@@weeyorkshiremantrucking6754 Thanks for your prompt response! Mr Goose has already told us about Bison so I could maybe just check with them! The only other question I have is visa related… do you know if foreign drivers who work for Canadian trucking companies require a visa of some sort when they need to cross into the U.S with a load? Or can they still cross over under the Visa Waiver Program? Regards

Hi mate I stumbled upon your video and have a question for you. I'm a UK class 1 driver and have friends in Iowa USA and have been offered a sponsored job. All I have to do is get there but looking at the visa forms looks like a nightmare. I love Americans and miss it every time I have to leave. Is it possible to do the visa forms yourself ? Anyway hints and tips on which visa would be great 😎👍
@aadrianlee yes it is possible to do all the paperwork yourself. It will be a little time consuming and a lot of paperwork filling out. But it is possible to do it yourself and save a lot of money, just make sure you read all the appropriate forms properly don't rush anything it'll just cost you time, check out the processing time for the state you want to move to some states have a longer processing time than others. Good luck
Which companies are worth approaching, with the highest pays? An experienced Class 1 driver from Uk wanting to move to Canada asap & also for license change can you advise of the detailed option?
Good question, As far as I'm aware a Canadian can drive for US company he or she would only be allowed to take loads out of Canada to the US and his return loads must be back to Canada, wouldn't be able to do any internal loads
lol have watched it all mate, I went to the driving test to find out how to exchange my license but unfortunately I was told I need to start everything from the beginning which is quite expensive. So I’m wondering if you could help get a company that will help exchange it… I have open working permit so I am willing to move anywhere I get help. I love to be on the road
An interesting take on what you need to do . After 35 years of the UK traffic etc this would definitely be different…. Not sure if Canada would let a 55 year old in though ? Lol .
