The car is a 1988 Toyota MR2 AW11, an exact replica of the iconic 80s sports car that was Danny Estrin's first car. Danny still owns that car and it is something of a Voyager mascot, appearing in videos and promo photos. Why use it here? It fits in with both the whole 80s vibe of the synth-heavy sound of the band, and the story of this particular song. It's a song about a journey from chaos, from feeling lost in a big over-communicated world. Voyaging out of the city, out of that world into freedom, into that expanse of the great outdoors. They needed a vehicle to represent that and Danny's MR2 was absolutely perfect for it.
think my fave from day 3 is slovenia, they didn't do too much to take the attention away from themselves but the red is so cool imo, also the "carpe diem" is cool bc they never actually sing it so it's still included in the performance
Okay, guys, you may like Blanka, but don't forget how she got to Eurovision. Even if proofs that exist are not enough for u, she did nothing to clearify the situation. She didn't try to talk to the polish audience, but plays a victim for foreigners and ignores bigger part of the country she represents. The fact that now her performance improved doesn't make her a person deserving the final. It's radical example, i understand, but a lot of criminals, maniacs did cool things. Should we praise them for that? Even one german chancellor of 30s-40s had nice drawings, so what, we should forget what he did and start love his art, laughing at victims' faces? Yes, Blanka is not that level of level, but she's not saint either. So stop acting like she's a queen just to punish "evil Jann 's fans". You just devalue injustice happened in Poland (and as the result are still not shown, its injustice)
When Blanka said in february that she will work hard to improve her performance I just laughed, but today I have to apologise to her (even tho I didn't write anything mean about her) beacuse she really worked hard and vocals are finally good and she can dance. I still think that she shouldn't be here, but I don't blame her at all, I just blame TVP, polish goverment and Edyta Górniak (one of juries).
