However, the scriptures states, 1) "Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day," so, it was daytime when Joshua prayed; 2) "The sun stopped in the midst of heaven and did not hurry TO SET for about a whole day," so, it remained daytime during the battle. What in scripture leads you to believe that the night stopped; I'm reading the day stopped.
Lord God, I pray for this person. I don't know what they need but You do. You care for this person more than anyone else because Your hand created them. Your word says that Your desire is that no one should perish but that all would come to repentance. Your word says that you care for the birds of the air and the lilies of the field and we are much more valuable to You than they are. I pray this person would trust that You are caring for them. I pray they would turn to You and Your perfect Word for direction, comfort, strength and hope. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
