    I am sooo grateful for spoken gospel. I just started reading the bible from the very beginning. My goal was to learn and read the word but to connect it to Jesus too. I had trouble doing that. I just got to RUTH and discovered the spoken gospel after reading Judges 19. Thank you for this revelation. I am eternally grateful for spoken gospel helping to connect the bible to Jesus in every word. Thank you for helping see light in the dark times of judges and in the old testament. Some parts were hard to get through but with your help I am confident that my eyes will be fixed on Jesus every verse now

    Where does the Bible say Ruth was infertile? She was a widow and faithful to her mother in law.

    Her voice and accent are very soothing. I did catch one small boo boo. "Like Ruth, Mary is a virgin.." Ruth wouldn't be a virgin.

    I'm a bit confused. Where does it say that these women were infertile? It definitely doesn't mention any infertility in Ruth 1

    • @brielleandrews9707
      @brielleandrews9707 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I was confused about that too. After reading over the first chapter again, I think maybe they're saying that because Ruth and Orpah had been married for ten years and didn't have any children, it seems that they must have been unable to have kids, since it's not like they would have had any reason to intentionally avoid having children like some people choose today (and would they even have been able to? Idk what kind of birth control they might have had back then). I think this seems to be a safe assumption, but I do wish they'd made it a little clearer how they drew that conclusion, since it doesn't explicitly say it in the text.

    Ruth 1:3-8, 15-21. What name describes you? What does it mean for you to live out the name that describes who you are in Jesus?

    Her voice, accent, and hand gestures make it hard to watch/listen. Gonna watch a different video about Ruth...
