  • Have you noticed lacy holes in the leaves of your Roses? These are probably caused by Rose Slugs.
    These small bugs can destroy, not only the leaves of your roses, but can also kill your entire plant if you don't take action.
    Here are a few tips on how to get rid of them.

    You can make your own insecticidal soap by combining 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon of dish washing liquid and 1 cup of water or mixing together 3 tablespoons of soap and 1 gallon of water. Cover the leaves thoroughly with the spray, making sure to coat them both top and bottom.

    • @wassonnursery
      @wassonnursery  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It could be powdery mildew. For that problem you would need to use a fungicide such as Daconil. Spray the same way as detailed above, every 7-10 days. To limit the problem make sure you are watering in the morning and try not to get the foliage wet.

    • @wassonnursery
      @wassonnursery  6 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Insecticidal Soap is usually an all-natural product that is better for the environment. Use this the same way as you would use Eight, just know that it may not be as effective. You may have to do more applications every 5-7 days.
