You need to be very careful with Neem Oil, yes it is a natural insecticide but it is also deadly to the most important pollinating insect "bees". Vegetable/Canol/cooking oil is way safer for the bees, it just takes more applications. Good video.

I spray neem oil mix immediately after I saw flower seedlings eaten by bugs. Spray for 3 days and bugs still ate all seedlings. It was too fast to stop them eating. I lost all seedlings😢 But other flowers and plants that grown big enough, not seedlings, I spray neem oil on them as well and it works well, rarely see a damage on foliage by bugs eating them

    • @lauracoteDIY

I’m no expert but i believe the oil comes from the neem seeds/kernels when pressed, not from the leaves. The cold pressed bottled oil is very common to purchase. Maybe with a little searching you can find a way to use the leaves!?

Does not work at home I've tried this for the last 10 years in Florida every time I try to go with this approach to do it every year organically. But unfortunately you cannot stop Florida bugs. You have to go a different approach unless you have a control climate which would be greenhouse grown indoors.
