Time: Amelia Romano celebrates 3 years of Talking Harps

The Talking Harps team has met some wonderful harpists since the project's inception, and it is always delightful for the team to connect with them again and again over the years.
Amelia Romano ( / @1harp1girl ) fist appeared in the channel in January 2022 when her "Harp Connections" interview was published. Talking Harps is fortunate to have Amelia return to the channel a number of times since then to share her works, such as the "Harp Focus" conversation on finding our musical identity. When Victoria traveled to San Francisco last year, she meet up with Amelia and recorded "Five Tips on Shifting Levers with Ease" as both of them share the passion of playing chromatic music on the lever harp.
To celebrate Talking Harps' its third birthday, the team invited Amelia Romano and Nadia Birkenstock for a special project where they each create an original composition and participate in a panel discussion on composing for the harp.
Amelia's composition, titled "Time", showcases her signature contagious rhythm and invites harpists to explore the chromatic versatility of the lever harp. We hope you enjoy "Time" as much as we do, and stay tune for the panel discussion which will be published on April 19th!
