Thank you for reacting to this great rendition of "How Great Thou Art". I enjoyed watching your reactions of Sissel. It's been a while. Good to see you back with a new reaction of Sissel.
She is the most requested soloist at the Temple Square. And made a little bit of history when she got a mid-concert standing ovation for her Slow Down 2019 ...TH-cam.
Hello there! Fantastic Sissel. So glad you are making a reaction out of her. Have followed her to and from the beginning in 1985 when she sang "Å Vestland, Vestland." When she knocked me out. Even then she sang with ease, joy and wonderful tone and she has continued to do so throughout her career. She is timeless with immense elegance. I have Aurora as my favorite artist and they are different but in such a beautiful way. There are also some funny similarities. Sissel started "seriously" with music at the age of 9, Aurora approximately at 6. Their birthdays are nine days apart (however, Sissel is considerably older). Both usually sing with a very soft tone which is very relaxing for the soul (at least for me). They were born only 165 kilometers apart on the Norwegian west coast. so it's fascinating.
She's beautiful and gave this song the reverence it deserves. I like how the orchestra didn't overpower her and let her voice shine through. First class!! 👍
@@jennifersmusicpage Norway. There is no doubt that Sissel starts singing in Swedish, since it is a Swedish song. There isn't that much of a difference between Swedish and Norwegian, so I don't have any problems understanding the words she sings. Kind regards from Norway.

Same here!! The sound was perfect ❤️
She is fantastic!
She sings in Swedish and English, but neither of them is her native language
That’s amazing!
She’s singing in Norwegian not Swedish
Interesting because I googled first to make sure and it said Swedish
I made a mistake
