Andy is definitely one of the best & an excellent communicator for anglers beginning & always gives good tips to more advanced fishing methods, thanx Andy keep the videos coming!
He’s obviously advertising but he’s right on this one. A lot of fishing things can be a little gimmicky but these bombs are perfect for people who want a simple rig
Great to hear the details on the method and your thinking Andy. Brilliant as always. I’m never confident that the tail straightens, even if feathered, as the lead sinks faster and pulls the hook length straight down again. I suppose in shallower water that’s less likely.

I see you have a bait runner reel on … I always use shimano 2500 or 4000 … so good for short lazy lobs close in, no chance of loosing your Rod. So few matchmen use them, do you know why 👍
Fin is a fantastic angler, but good god, he needs the key in his back winding up!😂 I still took plenty of good advice from this video though. Such a contrast in delivery to Andy May, who is also a brilliant angler and guy.

Do you have a particular brand of corn that you use??
And which length rod are you using ???
He uses a 11ft preston supera feeder rod👍.
He mentions banoffee …. It’s by sonbaits … PI brand … ps I use it at the Glebe works well.
Surely even if the corn shoots out in front of the lead as it hits the water, the lead will shoot down and drag the corn over the top of lead. Better to let the bomb and corn settle then draw the lead back at least the length of the hook length … 👍
Flick the rig out in clear water close in and watch what happens you’ll see I’m right 👍

Just a question, I understand that if you stop/feather the line just before the 'plop' everything will straighten out on landing, but surely the weight of the bomb will sink so fast that the bait will be dragged directly above it & then settle almost on top of the bomb. How do you counteract that happening ?
That's something that you can't compensate for.
Just make a video pretending it doesn’t happen.
mono hooklength don't have this problem
Another great video Andy. Full of tips. I'm definitely going to try this out on my club waters. I've watched your video on paste fishing also, and put all of your tips into practice over time. This has resulted in some amazing catches. I am now very confident in fishing the paste, and getting the paste 100% right. A bite every put in. You are very thorough in your explanations and logic. Keep these videos coming Andy, they are having amazing results on my personal results. What has happened to Higham Lane fisheries? Every time I have been past, no one is fishing there, and the gate is permanently locked. I know you used to fish there, and have won many matches on this venue.
Must have eyes like a hawk if you can see the corn at that distance

Another brilliant video from Andy, the fishing brain of commercials. Very informative and clear. I've watched all of your paste fishing, and have had some amazing catches as a result. I'm definitely going to try these tips. Keep the videos coming mate. Ignore the negative ignorant comments from the you tube trolls.
It doesn't sink on straight line the bomb pulls it down. Only time it can if the water is shallow than length from bomb to hook. .
