Not sure I can make the venue (180mls away will be weather dependant) so will not make a decision to about 1week before.

Bloody brilliant. I fished same on my last match and not a single bite. Proof of the pudding mate , if there not there and you cant locate em in ya swim you cant catch em. Cracking tips as per. Happy new yr J cant wait to follow your season.

Now here's a schoolboy comment for you Jamie! - Looks like you're using frozen corn (surely it wasn't that cold ;) ). Do you find it performs ok as a hookbait ? I've always believed it's only any good as feed when frozen.
Cracking videos by the way, keep them coming. As stated elsewhere, I always learn something watching your vids and they're excellently presented.
Thanks for watching Mark! Haha well spotted mate. Yes it was frozen but as often happens, once I put some lake water in it it froze again but soon thawed out. The biggest difference is you often find that some pieces will float that's why I always put it in water to get rid of any floating corn. Thanks again for watching mate!

Going to try this method at clear water next. I was there the same day as you a few pegs to the left and only managed a couple of roach 👎🏻
What do you do if you are fishing right up to clip & you hook a bigger fish .
I just unclip it mate and play the fish. At 35m with mono you get a couple of seconds to do it then when I've landed the fish I just go back to the measuring sticks and clip up again mate :)
I fished here about a mo th ago fished a yellow wafter and got them same place as you right across

Hi Jamie, how can I get them black rubbers to put on your hook when hair rigging?
They are just really small pole float silicone rubbers / sleaves mate, exactly the same as the tackle shops sell for pole floats :)

There is a fisherie 2 mile away from me he is thinking on banning pellet i said to him ban pellets and your fisherie will close he banned me from using bread which wasn't banned there at the time it was because i was casting 75 yard and catching far to many fish absolutely laughable jamie if commercials keep banning more baits they will close ALIEN
