finally someone who makes a whole solid video about the build! that thing is a beauty and I absolutely LOVE the lights! Awesome job and quite some inspiration!
Dude! You really knocked this project out of the park. I love all the aesthetic choices you made (blinkers, headlight, taillights, mirrors, shorty exhaust, exhaust wrap, rear fender, license plate mount, etc...). You turned this ladies bike into a real badass looking machine, that any guy would be proud to be seen on. My sister bought one of these last week and it sounds awful stock. Your shorty exhaust looks amazing and sounds so mean (with or without the baffle) in a good way.
I have dead Chinese Suzuki copy in my garden. If your actually interested it’s a Lexmoto valiant. I was pondering what to do with it and I landed on bobber so I’m really glad I found these videos. You have done a nice job here and it sounds awesome.
This is awesome, never even heard of these bikes until last week one was given to me free. (2007) going to build a bobber for my wife to learn on. This thing is sick looking!
Crazy man, you put up high the savage name with this build. At first i was like, oh no don't ruin a perfect bike. But your "less is more" mentality really transformed this bike to a better version of it. You rock sir!
haha Fantastic,....soon as I saw the build and migging in flip-flops, no visor, ya knew this guy was focused and the build shows it...FANTASTIC,.. looks great!!
Your S40 build looks great miles better than stock. Like your chopped off back end. Your m/c helmets fantastic pity it's not legal in the UK. Great video.
Amazing build, lots of inspiration for my Suzuki Ls650 i bought mine rebuild as a bobber (Ryca Motors bobber kit). Im happy with it but wants to change a few things here and there, and thanks to you i have so many new ideas now! Fantastic build and video man.
Yaaaa. I’m going to build my s40 into a bobber over the fall I think. Just change out the handle bars and mirrors. Seat, back fender, shocks, and new tires etc. This is easy to do and I’m gnna keep my little Suzuki for over another year until I get my M license and then I’ll sell it for what I bought it for or probably more tbh. I just had a light accident with it last Saturday in a rainstorm and my back tire locked coming to a stop sign....tried to catch it and I did but then it went the other way and I couldn’t control it anymore....almost broke my foot and hurt my leg and arm but the bike is fine. Broke the mirror clean off where the brake fluid reservoir is...tail light, and bent the hell out of the brake lever but I fixed all the but the mirror. Tiny dent in the gas tank but I’m hst gnna strip the paint, push the dent out and paint it a nice deep gray colour - turn it into a Bobber for next season. This one is tastefully done. Similar to what I have in mind. It’s not hard to do at all.
Very good job! My congratulations, of all the videos I've seen on bobbers from afar yours was the best, most faithful and complete. The only thing I would add would be the colors, I think it worked harder with black which ended up hiding the details of your project. Maybe if you had worked for example: with a black face on the side of the fuel tank and the bumper and in the center of it would put a shiny black with silver edges, would be perfect. But other than that, your project is perfect! Congratulations!!!!
Man I wanted a Savage back in the day. I got over it - until now! Will you build me a bobber if I supply the Savage? Just really fun to watch a man work in his garage!
A lot of people asking why am I switching frames? This bike was purchased at an auction as a parts bike and could not be registered, so we are putting all parts on another frame that has a title, with same year, make and model.
My project is moving along thanks for all your help. Question did you tap holes for your front seat bracket. And did you just use the frame holes for the rear of the seat?
Hope ya re-jetted the carb, to take into account the more free-breathing muffler. I neglected to do that one mine, wound up with a crack in the case which allowed all the oil to mist out; result: end of bike.
Hello Vlad. Amazing job! Rear shock absorber do you paint or buy a news? If you paint is dificcult? Sorry if muy english is bad. Tky from uruguay south america
Did you keep the frame stock?! Also, would you be able to provide links on where you got the turning signals, headlights, etc...?! Would love to build something similar!
This built looks awesome. Great job you did on it mate. Do you have a link where i can find the blinker/tail lights you used on the fork ? Greatings from belgium dude
Awesome bike bro. For once someone has done a build video on an S40 from start to finish . Did you use the same color black on the whole bike or did you use different shades? Also did you use any clear coat or just a satin finish all over?
DUDE YOU ARE A GENIUS!!! THE BEST BUILD I'VE SEEN!!!!
@Todd Gray yeah this still has my vote
finally someone who makes a whole solid video about the build! that thing is a beauty and I absolutely LOVE the lights!

Awesome build, you have given me inspiration to mod my s40. The only thing I would change is to a dark brown seat, would really set it off.
Your S40 build looks great miles better than stock. Like your chopped off back end.
Your m/c helmets fantastic pity it's not legal in the UK. Great video.

Do mine next! hehe
Way to make it look so easy, nice job man!
I have the same Savage 650 1998 since 2002... 185 thousand kilometers through Brazil and the south of South America
Got a 98 myself, turned/turning it into a back road bobber. I really don't know what else to call it, but I love it.
Bravo dude bike came out lookin slick!!!
Man I wanted a Savage back in the day. I got over it - until now! Will you build me a bobber if I supply the Savage? Just really fun to watch a man work in his garage!

You did an awesome job big bro.
Looks great 👍. Simple clean look
This bike is amazing. The only thing I would change is the seat to a diamond or pleated stitch instead of the flames.
This just became my dream bike 😍
Really great work ! It's fantastic
A lot of people asking why am I switching frames? This bike was purchased at an auction as a parts bike and could not be registered, so we are putting all parts on another frame that has a title, with same year, make and model.
Great job ... Riding position looks perfect
this guy is a superman. A+
Looks awesome! Not good for riding in the rain tho as someone that rode fenders like that it's a lot of fun keep your mouth closed 😅
Me encanto tu video, esa moto la recomiendas o crees que por el mismo precio podría encontrar algo mejor?
Très beau travail. Bravo....good job thank

damn. wish I had a friend that would/could make me a bobber like that
consider making a vinyl wrap man ...like the one I have done to my dirt bike in the profile pic..camouflage wrap will look great on your ride.
Nice job. I have an 87 Savage (same bike) that I want to turn into a bobber. I going to take a lot of inspiration from yours.
looks awesome.
this would look cool with lower handlebars..
i like the transformation of your 650 savage to bobber
Damn what an awesome bike, sadly mine won't look so badass like this 😅😭
Top job mate. What are the front indicator lights called? where did you get them from?
Its LED strips from ebay

props to you man this bike looks awesome
Nice bike, i love the bobber build.
Sinister! Love it bud... great job!
can something like this cruze the highway? what is the average total cost to do this to an older style bike? I mean, if you do your own labor.
would there be anyway to have a bolt on passenger seat when you need it? cool build man, thanks
Did you keep the frame stock?!
Also, would you be able to provide links on where you got the turning signals, headlights, etc...?! Would love to build something similar!

Awesome bike bro. For once someone has done a build video on an S40 from start to finish . Did you use the same color black on the whole bike or did you use different shades? Also did you use any clear coat or just a satin finish all over?
I used one stage satin all over except the engine and pipe, i used heat resistant paint, it turned out to be little less glossy then satin.
great looking bike vlad
awesome work and finnish to the bike!
Congrats on the bike came out nice
