I love the series of small towns, and that you try to compare local weather to big (or more populated cities) in the state. Please keep on doing that for the folks we haven’t yet been in those places.
We love Jerome and Williams! Fell in love with Prescott but couldn't afford housing there, so we bought in Chino Valley, and visit Jerome and Williams every chance we get! My grandparents had a summer home in Pine Top, so we love that area as well and camp in Show Low (Fool Hollow Lake) twice a year. Can't wait to explore Southern AZ - Tombstone, Tubac, Bisbee, and Patagonia! Such a great state with so many interesting places to visit! However, as "older" residents with health issues, living near a big city becomes a necessity, as much as you want to distance yourself from them.
I'm originally from a small town in Northern AZ, love that you do these videos on small towns to contrast them with the city. There is so much hectic life going on in the cities, what nice alternatives there are about which to learn. Keep up the good work!
I love all your videos but i really enjoy the small town tours. Superior Az is a cute little town also. Not far from Globe. Thanks for sharing your videos with us. 😊
I'm a New Zealander and with my wife spent five wonderful weeks in the US in Aug/Sep/Oct 2023. My favourite part was a road trip from Denver through the corner of Utah, then lots of time in Arizona, across to New Mexico and back through Albuquerque and Santa Fe eventually making it back to Denver. Just loved those small towns, like Rifle, CO and Williams, AZ, they are the soul of America. Went through Bisbee and Jerome, real character towns. Grand Canyon was marvellous, but my favourite place was Monument Valley, just beautiful. Would like to explore Utah and Nevada next time.
I love the small towns. We live in Maricopa which used to be a small town and now it is sooooo crowded. I need my space but don't like big cities anymore. So I'm looking for a potential place to move to one of these days. I love AZ ( minus the new gov) and would like to stay here.
Hey, it's got to be WAY better than Cali where I've been all my life. If it gets worse, you can always move east. I like Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Arkansas. I will likely move to one of those four states before I die.
I like this video of higher elevation small town. I am looking at AZ to move back to a more peaceful life . I used to live in Lake Montezuma, where I could see the sunrise from my den and the sunset from my living room. I loved the climate there, no searing hot summers, and very little snow, but lovely clear air to breathe. I was there from 2001 thru 2004. I didn't want to come back to CA but I had to. I couldn't find work nearby.
I love the small town tours! I live in Yuma, and I know there's so much more to Arizona. In fact, I'm looking for a small town to move to so I can escape Yuma. So please, keep the small town tours coming. Thanks!
I love living in Arizona. Wife an Iive in Mesa right now, but just bought a house in Chino Valley and will move up there full time when she retires in April. I love exploring the small towns around the state just want to avoid going through the Phoenix Metro area ever again.
Just found you, use to live in Prescott Valley in the very early 70's so one of the 1st families living there then. Considering that i like the small town video's their size, history the amount of land with the house's Etc... Thanks for sharing
I was able to check out Tubac and Tumacacori last year after seeing your previous video. It was a fantastic day trip. Oh and I enjoyed my afternoon cigar at Grumpy Gringo's which was really cool 😎 🔥💨❤️.
I was born in Phoenix in 1958 and we moved to Stanfield AZ and I grew up there until I was 9 or 10 and my family moved to Los Angeles. I would love to see you do a show on Stanfield it was a small town when I lived there. Don't know about now though.
I found your channel when I was looking at a house in Cottonwood. Love your variety of content. Maybe do something on upcoming festivals, fairs etc. Also I am a huge car show buff. Would love to know about some of the different ones going on.
I have been following your channel for a while and I enjoy more of the small town vids because it gives me information to compile for a weekend getaway from the city. Thanks!
LOVE this content! I personally like Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Sedona and Tubac. My parents live in Sun City, so when I move to Arizona, I will most likely start off in this area. I really enjoy watching this kind of informational videos. Would love to see more information on tiny homes, modular homes, decent and nice trailer parks e.g., are there any parks for tiny homes? How much are they roundabout? What's included when renting or buying?
Good job I just discovered your channel today here it is February 2023 I think today's the 7th or 8th either way I like seeing my home state that's just cool man I want to go finish this video. You ever get to Arivaca 24 miles west of Amado which is about 7 miles north of tubac on interstate 19 don't blink your eyes or you'll miss it.
Thx for the AZ content! Looking for a winter home in the next couple years and your videos have definitely helped educate me on AZ livin. Any insight from you on the water availability issues that seem to be getting worse would be awesome!
I enjoy all your videos, Jeff. Have you ever thought about making a video focused on the mountains in AZ? It would tie into things to do. San Francisco Peeks, Mount Lemon and even one as small as Granite Mountain are a good places to start. You would be able to highlight hiking, camping, parks and wildlife to name a few.
Sunrise is near Greer. Snowbowl is near Flagstaff. These videos are great J your hard work is most appreciated. If you get a chance do one on the Verde Valley (Camp Verde to Cottonwood).
Would be very nice of you dedicating a episode about the GREEN PARTS of Arizona bud, like where there is green and water, cost of living and such, especially a good health care for us seniors, GODS Country if I may, thanks, and LOVE YOUR VIDS.
SnowFlake/Taylor, very small towns about 15 miles from ShowLow, was a great town for Grade School through High School when I lived there! 💥, now SnowFlake has a small LDS Temple for those interested! 😜
Speaking of small towns, I grew up in Safford, which is another 1hr+ east of Globe. It’s located in the Gila River Valley on the east side of the San Carlos Apache Reservation. I like Safford’s vibes a lot better, however Globe does have more interesting topography. I do like that the major cities Tucson and Phoenix are both within 2-2.5hr drive time, just in opposite directions.
I'm so glad you have the adventure bug. How do you fund all these trips? You're leaving an amazing historical legacy in your pathway! Have you gone house boating on Lake Powell?
Wanted to move to Arizona until this last election, not gonna shoot myself in the foot, that border is too chaotic right now, nice vid though! "KEEP ON KEEPIN ON"
I recently spent 3 months in Arizona, one thing that struck me was the absence of colour in the house paint schemes. My favourite town in Az is Bisbee, closely followed by Globe.
I've watched quite a few of your videos but I've never seen you mention Sierra Vista. I grew up there in the 60's and it wasn't much then but now has all the amenities, great views and climate and is quite affordable. Seems like it should be included.
Thank you for providing info on temperatures in the summer months and elevation. Maybe, also add if the town or city has population of drug users or safety data.
There are different levels of the meaning of ghost town. Bisbee and Jerome are a ghost town in the sense of the vast population change. This is the second video where have footage of Bisbee and Jerome. I want to go to Jerome because of the history I've read. I went to Bisbee in late 80s with ex gf but wasn't into the historical aspect of Bisbee. We did do the mine tour. We even hit Tombstone that same trip and didn't really explore the town.
I will give you free Realtor advice: Only visit AZ, but don't buy a home in AZ. It got bad there with rising prices, rent, California type prices. Are you making over 80 thousand a year? then it may work for you. If you are one of those wheelin and dealing buy and sell homes kind of people, then best to ya then. Do your research.
Watch: Exploring Sedona and the Verde Valley: th-cam.com/video/wqMXm0UodlY/w-d-xo.html

Us too, we adore Prescott but housing is way too high!
Experiencing that myself, wanna move to a small town like I was raised in but have to be close to all my doctor's
I love the small town tours. Tubac looks really nice! It's a little pricey, but very nice.
I moved to Tempe in 1977 and 60 ended at Dobson Rd. then. now it takes you all the way to Globe
It always did.
Great information! We like your videos about small towns and interesting places to explore that are not tourist traps.
I'm originally from a small town in Northern AZ, love that you do these videos on small towns to contrast them with the city. There is so much hectic life going on in the cities, what nice alternatives there are about which to learn. Keep up the good work!
I used your videos to plan out a 6-week motorcycle trip from the east coast. Loved many of these small towns but my favorite was Tombstone.
Great reviews. Love the small town tours! Thanks
az snowbowl is in flagsraff sunrise ski resort is near greer
I loved this!!
I appreciate all of the time n effort that went into this.
Thank you so much!!
I love all your videos but i really enjoy the small town tours. Superior Az is a cute little town also. Not far from Globe. Thanks for sharing your videos with us. 😊
I like all the videos you do. I live in this state and am learning all the time from you. Thank you!
I like your style and approach to showing Arizona
I'm a New Zealander and with my wife spent five wonderful weeks in the US in Aug/Sep/Oct 2023. Love your videos of Arizona! They make me miss it sometimes. I'm originally from Parker and now reside in Hawaii since 1986.
Hey the best is Eagar and Springervill e in the White Mountains also called Roundvalley in Eastern Arizona 😀
10:52 El Ranchito Restaurant on the right. Best Mexican food in Globe.
Greer really isn't all that close to Arizona Snow Bowl. I think you meant Sunrise ski resort close to Greer
I love the small towns. We live in Maricopa which used to be a small town and now it is sooooo crowded. I need my space but don't like big cities anymore. So I'm looking for a potential place to move to one of these days. I love AZ ( minus the new gov) and would like to stay here.

I love AZ - and our NEW governor!!
Just had to insert politics into your comment didn't ya.
@@markblackmore521 she has connections to the cartel
LOVE ARIZONA.... LOVE TO KEEP IT OUR LITTLE AS THEY SAY IN SOME OF THE TV AD COMMERCIALS
Keep doing these videos. Great ideas for place to see. 12:05
I'd like to investigate every nook and cranny of Arizona. I know there's more to learn!
I was born and raised in Williams, my dad was born and raised in Bisbee! I enjoyed the video and love small towns in Arizona!
Are these towns relatively safe? Thanks Jeff, this was a good video!!
I would say they are relatively safe
Prescott has more crime than is shown and is a drug rehab central and hardly a small town anymore
11:45 Waggin' Vinyard & Estate turn right here for great local wine, food and entertainment.
Awesome video, I would love more content about the small Arizona towns
I really like Globe, I've had some good times there on bike rides. 👍
Globe is nasty and full of crime and rednecks so go e me a break here.
Greer is near sunrise ski resort. Snow bowl is near flagstaff

Thanks Jeff, love your video's.
Sedona is my favorite town in AZ,
And of course Prescott. ❤
We don't need more people moving to Prescott or the surrounding areas.
Awesomeness 💚
I love the small town tours! I live in Yuma, and I know there's so much more to Arizona. In fact, I'm looking for a small town to move to so I can escape Yuma. So please, keep the small town tours coming. Thanks!

I like the diversity of your content. So do what you're doing brah!!
I was born in Phoenix in 1958 and we moved to Stanfield AZ and I grew up there until I was 9 or 10 and my family moved to Los Angeles. I would love to see you do a show on Stanfield it was a small town when I lived there. Don't know about now though.

Just bought in Cornville
This was a nice video and not too long.
Definitely enjoy the small town tours!
A video about best places to raise a family with little to no hoa's would be great 👍
I enjoy all your videos, Jeff. Have you ever thought about making a video focused on the mountains in AZ? It would tie into things to do. Not Snow Bowl, Sunrise regarding Greer.
I like these kinds of tours. Nice work.
In Parker Arizona 4th of July is rather warm. Watch "River Daves Place" video. Crowded?
Love what you post.
Thank you
Jeff, more Small towns, please!
Great series. Keep up the good work. Thanks
I like all of your videos! I’m moving to Tucson!

Jeff, Keep doing these, please! -Liam
Jerome and Bisbee are two of favorite places to visit in Arizona.
SnowFlake/Taylor, very small towns about 15 miles from ShowLow, was a great town for Grade School through High School when I lived there! 💥, now SnowFlake has a small LDS Temple for those interested! 😜

Hi, we love your content! Could you maybe do an episode showing shooting ranges, desert areas where we can shoot our guns?
مرحبا فيديو جميل للغايه وكثير من المعلومات المهمه شكرا لك 🌹
Wanted to move to Arizona until this last election, not gonna shoot myself in the foot, that border is too chaotic right now, nice vid though!
"KEEP ON KEEPIN ON"
I recently spent 3 months in Arizona, one thing that struck me was the absence of colour in the house paint schemes. My favourite town in Az is Bisbee, closely followed by Globe.
Lived Az grew up my brother and I the 1st ked in the school in lake Havasu
I checked out Payson & a few smaller towns, couldn’t find many homes for sale & rentals non-excitement !
I'm pretty sure Prescott has the oldest running Rodeo! Correct me if I'm wrong.?
The one in Payson is continuous.
You need to do a video on Superior AZ!
What about Clifton AZ?
We like to have video on some good day out destinations from Phoenix metro with family. Thx
Greer is near Sunrise ski area - not Snowbowl
I've watched quite a few of your videos but I've never seen you mention Sierra Vista. I grew up there in the 60's and it wasn't much then but now has all the amenities, great views and climate and is quite affordable. Seems like it should be included.
Coming in the next video actually
I think the small towns are one of my biggest likes I'm getting older and don't like the busyness and the traffic
Thank you for providing info on temperatures in the summer months and elevation. Maybe, also add if the town or city has population of drug users or safety data.
I love the video
Looks the same in Bisbee! We left after mines closed my dad was miner.
