Two musicians born and raised in Odessa, Ukraine.
Pianist and composer Vadim Neselovskyi leaves the “pearl by the Black Sea" to move to Germany and then to the US. He studies at Berklee College and The Monk Institute, becomes Gary Burton’s pianist and arranger and ends up in New York where he leads his own groups and plays and collaborates with Lee Konitz, Randy Brecker, Julian Lage, George Benson, John Zorn among many others.
Singer and composer Tamara Lukasheva leaves Odessa, the most culturally and ethnically diverse city in Ukraine to go to Germany to study at the Cologne Conservatory. Very quickly she becomes a rising vocal star on European jazz scene, winning one important award after the other: just in the last two years she won the New German Jazz Price and prestigious Horst and Grettel Will Price for Improvised Music of the city of Cologne.
The two musicians met in Odessa when Vadim gave a workshop at the local college and discovered a bright young vocal talent. Years later Vadim and Tamara played a string of duo concerts in Europe, when it became apparent that the chemistry between them is undeniable.
“We both come from such similar cultural backgrounds and yet our paths are so different, with my life between US and Europe, and Tamara’s immersion into the European scene. We speak the same language on so many levels, but there’s this feeling of learning so much from each other”-says Vadim Neselovskyi

Будьте добры, не сочтите за наглость, возможно, если конечно же у Вас будет вдохновение и желание, поделитесь знаниями в отношении перегармонизации, у Вас восхитительное видео в фэйсбуке, просто хотелось бы понять тонкости,если у Вас будет возможность. очень красиво, богатая текстура, легко ложится, ласкает слух. здорово! но меня не покидает интерес задать вопрос пианистам виртуозам - верят ли они в минимализм в инструментальной музыке? или точнее - способны ли они создать минимальными средствами, то есть без виртуозности, без "лишнего" нагромождения фраз, такую же легкую и непринужденную музыку, при этом сохраняя многообразие, только малыми средствами. Лаконично, емко выразить суть не прибегая к помощи многообразия "украшений".
Алекс, мне кажется, что призывая к лаконичности, следовало бы начать с себя, и, говоря вашим же языком, изложить свою мысль без нагромождения фраз.
