@@LadiesoftheLanai-yb1ns Thank you, but I got this message when I tried to message "This account can't receive your message because they don't allow new message requests from everyone." I guess they are too popular at the moment.

Thanks for watching Steven we appreciate you!!!
Hi Richard!
Go to Village Cycles in Brownwood, and speak to the owners, Mark or Wendy, and tell them what you’ve got, and they’ll know exactly what to order for you. You can mention my name and they’ll order you the exact same kit I use!
Is the a Villagers group on Twitter? It would be fun to connect with ppl there. Fun video
I don't know, as I'm not a Tweeter but maybe give it a search!?
@@LadiesoftheLanai-yb1ns nice . I like your interviews:-)

We’re from Fountain HillsAZ, next door to Scottsdale. Also lived in southern Florida. Would be great to visit the Villages, but the bonds in addition to property taxes concerns this retiree…
Suzanne, there are plenty of homes available without bonds. Brand new homes have bonds. Newer homes mostly do have bonds unless a prior owner paid it off. Older homes most likely have no bonds or little left on the bonds. Previously, we had a home in the Village of Polo Ridge, and it had no bond. Taxes were less than what we were used to paying so I guess that's relative to what you are used to.
I just visited my sister in Fountain Hills this weekend, 106 degrees! No golf carts, no rec centers, and no community pools. It's just hot. She said they also don't have a lot of friends, even though they belong to the local lodge - and volunteer. They have a lovely, lovely home, but no community. We just bought up north in The Villages, pools 7 doors down, very nice neighborhood and lot to do.
@@janetwallace1332 Thanks for that perspective. Yes Roddy said it so well, you're not buying just the home, you are buying the lifestyle. That's why they call them "Lifestyle Visits"
Nice video
Thanks Melodie, we really appreciate your support!!!
I just do not see the draw to badly built homes in crappy hot weather that need 1000s of dollars in work after moving into a NEW house. Makes little sense.
He said they “wanted” to make changes to their house. That doesn’t mean the changes were necessary. The weather is a draw for people who are tired of bitter cold winters.
I'll take the few weeks or months of "crappy" hot weather in exchange for it being beautifully WARM the rest of the year!
These are not badly built homes. Any home can have some imperfections. The Villages builders stand behind their products and are extremely quick to fix any imperfections.
You not understanding and staying away makes me happy. Stay somewhere safe, far away from Florida.
What an absolute waste of materials! You buy a new home and dump all or most of the materials, counters, flooring etc. Sounds like a bunch of spoiled adults! Does everything have to be perfect?
His wife was an interior decorator/designer. He said they couldn’t pick the cabinets, floors, countertops etc. in their new home it was already done. They had the money it’s their money and if they wanted to make their new home the way they wanted. That is their choice. I would bet to say their home is beautiful.
@@bfn6ghh That's so true. Many leave the surfaces and appliances alone (we did) and many others just prefer to make it their own. It's a matter of choice :)
