Played very 'konzertant'!
Many thanks, I remember a terrific recording with Glenn Gould!

Ginzburg is one of my favourite pianists. His moving tone and superb touch are amazing! The sonata allows him to show the deep feelings of his interpretation.thank you so much for loading it!!!

I love this. Even though it's at times more fiercely percussive than I would prefer, this is now my favorite performance and interpretation of the many I've yet heard. Ginzburg was a great pianist. His phrasing here is wonderful - especially outstanding in the first movement. (I have always regarded this work as a large-scale nocturne, and for me, this phrasing fits that interpretation perfectly.) Thank you for this, Erwin. Ernest

Отличное интонирование, в отличие от многих исполнителей!

A nicely spacious first movement, a beautifully wistful second with some lovely singing tone, a grandly conceived third (with a nicely transparent trio section) and a solid, measured finale (in which one might wish for slightly more sense of caprice in places). Splendid playing overall though!
Not perhaps the greatest sonata ever written, but a most engaging work nonetheless!

I loved this ,years ago I looked it.I remember thinking it was a great romantic work. And one I could play.not too difficult.Nice to hear it played again in such a romantic but not over top way.

Ginzburg has an excellent touch bringing out the qualities of this particular piano. His speeds are very suitable throughout, and fingerwork is excellent. He has benefited from being born at the height, and the end, of the great era of piano-playing.

I love his concentrated sound, something Irina was always talking about. He makes this sound like one of the pinnacles of the romantic era.Have you heard Pires nocturnes.BIt superficial sound ?But I wonder how she d cope with Liszt feux follets
