Hi there thanks again. It looks like you're cooking it with direct heat. Interesting I've only cooked a duck so far with indirect heat on the rotisserie. I might need to give this a go.

I have given up trying to cook pork on the babyQ 😢
Can never get it to crackle, but same oiling and salt done in our kitchen oven it comes out really good,
But this rotisserie might work no aluminium foil stopping heat

I’ve tried this on the family Q but the crackle didn’t work. Would you recommend direct heat with both elements or indirect heat with just the outside element?

I’d recommend direct heat with both burners on high, after 30 mins turn middle burner off. Then adjust outside burner to suit temp 👍👍

Hey mate, gonna pull the trigger on a baby q but I'm not sure on what I should go for.. I can get the baby q1000 for $309 aud or should I spend the extra $90 and get the baby q premium q1200?
Do you find the extra height of the premium a benefit over the q1000 and do you find the temp gauge actually useful?

The Extra height is way more advantage, plus you get electronic ignition and a temp gauge . So well worth the extra .
Mitre 10 specialist Weber dealers are the best place in Aus , you can get some great deals , plus If you are a mitre 10 member you get 5 or 10% discount on your purchases 👍
Thankyou for support of my channel really appreciated. Let me know how you get on with your new baby q 1200 when you get it .
      Happy New Year 👍👍

      Thanks for the reply!
I've had a look at the mitre 10 website, they don't seem to have the q1200 listed, just the q1000. Any other suggestions?
Also which state are you in?
      Cheers mate 👍
