I’m not saying that I didn’t care about rin, it was sad seeing her cry because her husband doesn’t remember her and she had to care for him, but I think why people are so sad for Len is because he’s still alive and suffering for the fact that his amnesia is gone after rin died and it was pretty upsetting for the song to end on him on his knees bawling in tears because of that.

it could be that she wanted Len to remember himself, and she want him to remember. Len never told her that he hold the picture dearly, so Rin couldn't have known that a picture could fix this.. :o maybe xD
