Sounds to me like Dan gets it. He’s doing the ‘Cameron’ approach to story telling which is playing with expectations in the story and turning them on their head I.e. arnie being the protector or making aliens an action movie. The predator being the protagonist and the movie being set in the future sounds refreshing and plays with what audiences expect in a predator movie. I hope it works out for Dan.
