I think it is the worst ticket on the silicon lottery, it is cooled by a ASUS ROG STRIX LC II 240, and was cooled before by a EK-Mana LiteBlock MAG Torpedo Z690 custom waterblock with very similar result... My current CPU in this MSI board is a 13900KF, which can reach 300W consumption easily, but it works much lower temperature like 13600KF
I'm getting slightly better temps with 13600K 5.7 x 4.5 x 5.0 but my 240 is pumping hard. This game is more CPU intense than Battlefield 2042 at times.
You think this setup will do fine for a couple more years? I hear alot of ppl talking about the vram but i feel like 1440p gaming will be fine for awhile. I have the same and looking forward to the black myth wukong and the new assassins creed.
Here is a Daniel Owen's video about this topic: th-cam.com/video/_-j1vdMV1Cc/w-d-xo.html Most new title especially with ultra preset with ray tracing use more VRAM than 10GB. If it happens your game will stutter and slow down. But if your goal is reach 60+ fps with a 3080 in new games, you have to lower the settings the level where amount of required VRAM will be lower then 10G. In Daniel's video he get big differences for example when he maxed out the settings and the game was unplayeable independs on VRAM, I think it is not a real life problem, that you have 4 or 12 fps. So the answer is complex, for me I think 10GB VRAM is match the raw power of a 3080 GPU. I played The Ascent several hours on my 3080 in 1440p with a smooth gaming experience, and when a played it on my 4090 in 4K max settings it used 16G+ VRAM, BUT the gaming experience was very similar. And of course things like DLSS helps a lot on this issue. Maybe I make a video about this topic and test it with The Ascent, and I will link it to you.
I have i7-14700k and i hit 100c that's why i deleted the game i play cyberpunk 2077 on max setting without even hitting 84c this game seems busted even so i wish if they could fix this problem for 13, 14 gen intel
I am pretty sure the game mine crypto while you play :D I checked my 13900KF usage diagram and it was almost constant 100% on all thread, it can't be normal
Blasting the CPU and GPU fans helps. Once I opened one of my side panels the temps went down considerably. But putting my shaders settings on Max (Nvidia inspector) I swear I barely feel any heat coming off my PC under heavy load, 4K ultra settings, 60fps in modern games. I have an unmodified prebuilt (8940 dell 3060 t i / I7 10th gen) it's supposed to be terrible for temps but now it's perfect.
It would be better if you can move the mouse curror out of the view during the cutscene :(
true true
What CPU-Cooler do you use? Your 13600KF is running pretty hot xD

@brandon_gb here is the video about 10G memory test, I hope you will like it! th-cam.com/video/Aga2QNdHmzQ/w-d-xo.html

just freeze even a few frames and the cpu usage goes back to normal. This game is really poorly optimized for the CPU
Bro your CPU is burning
