The nes was so revolutionary in so many ways. We all know the system had countless memorable soundtracks, but we never really ever talk about the fact that it’s really the first system to even have actual music at all!
Nope, C64 was released before nes, and even have often better music.

Pitfall 2 for 2600 had music. They actually had to build a special cartridge for it--kind of what was later done for NES cartridges.

Those little head bobs and discrete musician eye contact is the stuff that you forget over the years if the videos weren't recorded. We're looking forward to cranking out new videos of VGM!

I'd love to see these guys play at MAGFest or MAGWest. But they're all pro jazz musicians in the Seattle area with families. It would cost some $$ to make that happen. But a spot on KNKX would be awesome. The drummer, D'Vonne Lewis, has had his band there.

Vibraphone blew my mind
I played this game as a young kid and Moon Theme always stuck with me. I think I even knew at that age that it was a banger :) . Absolutely amazing cover! Thank you guys for putting in the effort and making something beautiful.

Just found these gems, incredible rendition, and spicy. I just can't appreciate more the amazing job the bassist is doing. While the band goes all around in amazing impros, the bass keeps a perfect pace giving landmark for everyone to land just on perfect pitch and time. Incredible job everyone. That's sad you haven't released a new track since few years (on YT)

I was 11 years old and rented Duck Tales from the local video store. The first stage I played was The Moon and I was like "Woah this song RULES!!!" Y'all do this beautiful composition justice and add some KILLER solos!
