Excellent video, Pete. I didn't know that you are a "pro" but I could have anticipated. The way you play the games and the mechanics details you are talking about. As an old retro gamer it is always interesting and a pleasure to listen. I'm one of the lucky 2600 (+50) owners of this device. The game mix, the wooden look (perfect fit to my 4 switcher) and the hardware quality - nearly perfect.
Fantastic guide! Thank you for the quick reviews and history of each one. High-five to you and Blaze for this excellent Super Pocket release :) Subscribing now :D
Excellent coverage as always and I really enjoyed how you broke down each game. Honestly, there are lots of great games here. My only complaint with the device is that 2.8 inches for handheld is a bit on the small size screen wise. If it had been 3.5 or a bit more, I would have strongly considered picking this up. But, honestly, this still looks to be a very good product and am really impressed with what Blaze is doing with the Evercade and its ever growing ecosystem. In the meantime, take care and I look forward to many more videos yet to come.

I love the device! Only managed to find time to play 2 or 3 of the games so far but will be revisiting this video as and when I find the time to play more of them. Great work.

Do you know if Wizard has a way to set the 'difficulty switch' so that you can play with the flame? I'm not sure if it's possible on the pocket (or even the cart)? Do you know?
Love this Pete. I’ve been looking for someone to come onto my Retro Titans podcast and talk to me about this amazing little console - would you be up for it?
Night Driver appears very briefly in a scene in Dawn of the Dead (1978) where the characters play various arcade games, it's fascinating to see a 1970s mall arcade where such games existed alongside electro-mechanical driving games (Namco's F-1, also from 1976, features heavily in the scene).
@@ThisIsPete I watch every video but I don't always have something to say. Maybe I'll say 'algorithm' to help out with comment numbers lol. Or maybe I'll write something like a normal human.
Was Countermeasure a prototype for Atari 8 bit systems? I only ask cause even as a kid, I played it on my Atari 800. Being honest, like 99% of my library was not legit, thanks to a friend of my dad's at his work. But, I did play it.
According to Atarimania, a prototype does exist, so you may well have played that. There were a lot of 5200-to-Atari 8-bit conversions that made it out into the wild via piracy groups/computer clubs -- some of these were originally intended to be released by Atari, others were unofficial ports. The one I remember playing was Gremlins, which appeared "unofficially" on Atari 8-bit before the actual 5200 version appeared in shops!
It’s a great product, always evangelizing because Blaze has the best quality for price ANYWHERE
Hi Pete. Great video and very entertaining. You have a natural skill for this kind of thing. A neat little device as well.

What a treat, another hour(and a bit) long video to enjoy
Always pleased to see your face! Enjoy! :)
