Can't wait to see what Christmas looks like. Trompe l oeil is correct. My eye was tricked. The church appears renaissance period. At first, baroque, but not. Definite renaissance. But, the art is baroque. I miss Europe. The term in German for this village is gemutlichkeit. I make a pizza with arugula, fig, prosciutto and gorgonzola. We were just too full to eat any more after dinner. We are heading back up there tomorrow. we will see if they are still selling them and we will try them.
