"The band" in the video IS Chris Denning (aka Helmut Rulofs) and Gilla (aka Gisela Wuchinger). It's from a 1997 documentary about Gilla performing in Russia. The performance was originally performed live, but someone thought it would be a good idea to replace the live singing with the studio version, but they didn't know how to properly sync the audio to the video, so it looks like shit.
@@fairlightmovies In the video they don't sing this song, it is recreated from fragments of the documentary that you mentioned. It is a way to make listening to this great song more enjoyable, but it is not intended to deceive anyone. In the description of the video it is specified that it is not an original video and is just a recreation. Thank you and have a nice day.
The video is edited with images of Helmut Rulofs and Gilla, singing other songs and with the audio of Jamaica Farewell, only I am the culprit of the edition of the video not Frank Farian. Excuse me.
@@elnoi2 In which case it is okay. I thought that it was like Bobby Farell lip synching . However is this guy going by the name of Chris Denning since Chris sings in the same style. ?

Yes, on the single Helmut Rulofs used the pseudonym Chris Denning.
Is that Chris Denning? what year was this taken please?
Yes it is. Chris Denning was a stage name he used to use.
1978
Like BonyM s
Great Great
This version reminds me of boney M.
It is completely normal, same musicians, same technicians, same producer, the strange thing is that it was not published by Boney M.
Feliz Navidad...of Boney M
Kwiat magnoli
It does not look that he is signing at all. . Must be Lip synching like Milli Vanilli .Anything involving Frank Farian was fake !

Excuse me.
Gilla is a well known singer! Helmut Rulofs is her husband!
Your name sounds fake!
No one has D as second name!
@@musicworldvision802 It does not have to be fake. I have shortened it on the public forum.
