There you have it. The best part of the whole movie is Shadow's triplet cut. People are so obsessed with new scratches that they forget you can make the most simple of scratch techniques the best if you are fast and precise enough

In the commentary on the DVD, during the scene, "Jammin", the director states that DJ Shadow advised him that he wasn't much of a scratcher, but he definitely held his own, and actually had the best set, in my honest opinion ...
