From the few records I did see, I am very impressed. Some of this stuff is worth a lot now and it’s insane how good shadow’s crate digging skills were

This dude changed my music scape of playing instruments and why. Made me think a lot about structure. This video is dope!!!!!
Very cool. It's crazy how much inspiration I get from your music even though I'm a guitarist. Truly transcendent stuff sir.

I feel like the kids in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Wow
Gives hope to a lot of disorganised youth out there
What's that gemini mixer 0:44 ?
Name of the songs in this video ??
That's very organised. For a blast of UK instrumental Hip Hop heavily indebted to DJ Shadow check out UK Producer/DJ Cut to Shredz with us at Tough Pigeon Records.
Since he left the mpc his music got worse IMO
so that's why his music got so bad. Explains alot. Just reading up on his equipment and how he moved over to Ableton. The timing pretty much aligns with when his albums started to sound like overpolished, sterile crap that sounds like everything else.
@@danbanfield Pretty much, seems like every artist has to sell out eventually.
Lmaoo you guys crack me up. Its not the gear its the man behind the gear. Getting an MPC won't make you a dope producer
It's not really the hardware that makes you a good producer, but I have to admit that sound he had back then is what I think most people loved about his music. I can't say I like any of his stuff after the Private Press. Once he changed his sound it's pretty obvious his fans took notice. He was a legend of the MPC and so many producers and fans loved that about him.
I dont wanna front on somebody, but im getting a bit tired of that discussion, people saying that gear doesn’t matter. Imo that’s completely wrong. Its exactly the opposite. Certain gear and its limitations make u definitely go a certain way. And also hardware has a spefific sound. If you want the sound of an MPC 60, get the MPC 60, if you want sound like a SP 1200, get the SP 1200. No emulation, no plugin gonna sound like it. I dont say plugins are bad, they are fine for many things, but hardware is hardware. And btw there are plenty of artists that made great early work and then fell hard off. Thats just my opinion, but just to name a few, Pete Rock, DJ Shadow, and as a huge Madlib fan, since he produces on an Ipad i dont feel his music anymore. His Gibbs joints are pure garbage to me. My opinion
I'm Doing SampleBeats too.I Hope i would get Records and Mpc 500.Vinyl Player. And Dj Mixer and stuff like that.
Clean yo room foo!!
