A really important development. Does it still have the APU in the rear? Has the APU been upgraded to use the same turbine and electric motor/generator as the two attached to the propellers. This is a great advance as smaller, cheaper turbines can be used. The two drive motors must be sized for the T/O and climb. Between three smaller turbines and the batteries sufficient power can be delivered to them. During cruise, the battery can recharge, and the plane could land just with battery energy, however, would need rapid startup of turbines for a go-around.
Looks very complicated just make sure it doesnt fail (redundant) if you dont know how to do that just contact me my company is #1 in the world in aerospace robotics
As cool as it looks, we still have the issue of weight and range to resolve
