Hey Bill and Anthony Great video, I had no idea RC was that reasonable cost wise to go get into . Cheaper than model building in some cases. Bill, I think I predate ya in flying. I learned to fly in the YMCA GYM in 50's early 60s' with a lined controlled balsa wood " Firebird", with .049 engine - still have a few scars on the fingers from manual starts. Then I graduated to the plastic PT- 19, with wings held on with rubber bands -saved the aircraft from totally wiping out on crashes. You're certainly right about cost. Back in the day no digital controls and the aircraft had to be pretty big and took a long time to build. After a few years of flying line controlled, I switched to AMT car model building I imagine this kit will make a great Christmas display Cheers to the team, Bob Haltom Pacific Northwest
Always great to hear from you Bob. I think you do predate me by a couple of years. Ah Control Line planes, we were selling them in the 80s into the 90s but they are a long gone since. Technology has really made Radio Control affordable and attainable for everyone!
