Thanks for sharing your review and experience with these patterns. I struggled with the fawn and fox so much and a bit with the dragon. I thought I was missing something somewhere.

I think only some of them have stuffed legs/arms because of the style of feet those animals have. The fawn has hooves and so does the cow - so those are stuffed. The hooves are even different pattern designs where they increase on one side to shape them more like a real hoof. But the panda paws are different, so those are not stuffed. I also made my fawn pink. She's very similar to yours!
I made the cece chick. The only part that i struggled with was the legs. I was so frustrated that i gave up for a month. Finally figured it out. Love the book and cute patterns but it was confusing in some spots. I love how honest your review is. It was super helpful

I have bought the book but my biggest struggle is tying the legs. I couldn’t. So I undid the foot and leg and made it short and added foot. This was the Dino. Very aggravating. Also the way they attached the head to body was a little scary bc I never did it like that. But I like it now. I ended up stuffing the body also so the stuffing from feet wan’t disappear into the body.
Did you have any suggestions.
Hey love, I found the same with the legs, I just added a few extra rows and it worked great.
The feet in the Dino aren't supposed to be stuffed. You can't stuff anything made with a half double crochet because the gaps between stitches, but mine hold their shape great when made with Bernat Blanket ❤

@@mannynicole7976 the book is more like medium sizing. their minis are smaller than the book's lovey pattern

I just ordered the book and I have zero experience with amigurumi. At first you say it would be a good place to start for a beginner but then you go on to say some things were really hard for you & you’re very experienced. That has me a little scared, but I’m hopeful I’ll be able to do it. I have been crocheting for over 50 years so I’m hoping my experience will win. 🤣🤣 Thanks for your very candid review!
