Why did you mix the yeast in instead of letting it bloom in watter?

The main problem im seeing with the pattern just reading through it was that there are 2 rnd 10s in the left ear portion of the pattern and i cant tell what it actually wants me to do since it doesn't look like the right ear instructions even mirror that portion to figure out whats wrong

Nice, soon you’ll get it right 1st try. I love FPP. my recommendations for success: starch and iron you fabric, accurate cutting with good tools, and straight sewing with a scant 1/4 inch. I learned a lot from Karen Brown for technique and Pat Sloan on design and fabric. And so many for inspiration. I look forward to your progress.

Checkout Lori Holt! She is a fabric designer, quilt pattern designer, cross stitch pattern designer, a crochet designer….. She does all the things and keeps them simple and easy to learn.

I am currently trying to figure out what's wrong with my Stitch I'm making, and once I got to the nails portion it was really messing with me. So glad I found your video!! *edit* i couldnt read the tiny instructions, so had retyped them, fixing what i thought were typos. But, based on the instructions, where do the nails go and why only 2? **Also, Alot of the typos seem to come from a bad OCR conversion from image to text document.

I think they may have fixed the pattern problem "DEE" because I don't see that in the pattern I just bought. Glad you brought it to their attention! My main concern for this is that it is not labeled as to what level of crochet pattern it is. I don't feel like this is a beginning pattern at all. If I didn't know what I was doing I think I'd be clueless!! MY other issue with this pattern is that there are no stitch counts. I'm going to make notes as I go, but this would be really really helpful like you said. I hope in the future they'll labels this as an intermediate pattern.... but probably those who buy such kits are beginners who want to learn.... so that would hurt their sales.

We are doing The Good and the Beautiful this year as well and I’m looking forward to it. We are going to ease into in by doing 2 days this week and then full speed next week.

I live about 30 minutes from there and my daughter and I just stopped in there a few months ago. There was a lot to look at there!

I'm a math teacher by trade now homeschooling my kids (grades 2, 4) and we use Good and the Beautiful. High quality curriculum for sure.

Thanks for sharing your review and experience with these patterns. I struggled with the fawn and fox so much and a bit with the dragon. I thought I was missing something somewhere.

I got a set of 4 vintage Pyrex bowls for $25, we were at an antique store recently, they were selling them for $45 - $75 individually. Definitely got a bargain!

I have bought the book but my biggest struggle is tying the legs. I couldn’t. So I undid the foot and leg and made it short and added foot. This was the Dino. Very aggravating. Also the way they attached the head to body was a little scary bc I never did it like that. But I like it now. I ended up stuffing the body also so the stuffing from feet wan’t disappear into the body. Did you have any suggestions.

O M G yes. You have to buy mill hills out of season at this point LOL I'm trying to get the buttons and beads that is the strawberry basket right now and out of stock everywhere! looking forward to seeing your mill hill on the fabric! I've been thinking about trying that out too :)
