Completely agree. From the very first scene, I just had this thrill of a feeling, that what I fell in love with in DW would really come back under Ncuti’s beautiful and joyful portrayal. He’s just a bundle of fun and charm, and I can see him reaching into the depths of empathy that we love so much about past Doctors.

So, in addition to being an excellent actor, Ncuti is also a human ray of sunshine. I'm so happy. He is a delight. Also, if you haven't seen the series "Sexual Education," you're missing out.
With Ncuti Gatwa I like the humanity that he brings to the character. There's moments where he wonders if he'll be able to overcome the odds and fight against the forces like the maestro in the Devils chord or the goblins in the church on ruby road and I like that questioning because it grounds the character and brings a truth to The Doctor and his attitude. I say truth and not reality because the show being a science fiction adventure show and his mode of transportation being a blue box that's bigger on the inside then the outside we kind of have to throw real out. The show has to have a truth to its characters, it's world, and most of all to itself and so far it's doing that is carrying on that tradition very well with the 15th Doctor 👏

Been a fan since Dad picked up the DVD’s in a university library in 2013 and I’m thrilled I can now stream the series when it airs!…you know…sans sailing… Absolutely adore Ncuti as the Doctor already. Cannot wait for the new series.
I thought he strangely sounded more English than Scottish when I first heard his voice, but after a while I started to hear the Scottishness in his voice.
Ah, Ncuti comes across so genuine! I thought he was great in the most recent series of Doctor Who, I'd love to see if he ramps up the alien quirkyness of the character in the next series. He's a great ambassador for the show :)
