I love how in Good Omens, David is a devil and Michael is an angel, but on Graham Norton, David seems all innocent and Michael knows all the naughty emojis.
That part _always_ has me in stitches. "Did you know about this?" "YES, OF COURSE! Where have you BEEN?!"
Yea it's sorta like lucifer, Tom Ellis is the calm one in real life but then Lauren German is the loud one, it really is like opposites😂

I spent a day on a photo shoot with David. I swear he is exactly the same in real life as he appears on here. He had us all in stitches and was so sweet and caring.

Ahh I’m so happy to hear it was a good experience! I’ve seen him talk before that he can be kinda grouchy at photo shoots but I can’t imagine him being anything but wonderful!

He’s a total sweetheart. My friend ran into him when he was at San Diego Comic-Con a decade ago. He was at a restaurant getting food and she recognized him and waited until he was done eating and heading out to say hi. She said he was SO LOVELY and his face lit up when she said she was a huge Doctor Who fan and how he was her Doctor. They talked for a few minutes about the show and how much they both loved it. She asked for a picture with him and he was more than happy to do so, and he’s smiling so big and bright in the photo, hugging my friend. She talks about it all the time, how kind he was and how he hugged her when she said “I saw you but I didn’t want to interrupt your meal so I waited!” He could’ve just snapped the photos and left, but he really made her feel special and he was truly appreciative of her support.
Respect to your friend as well for coming up to him after his meal instead of disturbing. Think people forget celebs are human then act surprised when they have emotions and strangers aren't entitled to their time. Must be printed all over their house, David's a babe

Can confirm. My parents met him backstage during a tour of the RSC Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon where he was demonstrating the many ways you can act a scene from Shakespeare. They were so smitten that they considered him the adopted son they never had.

He talked about theater and audio books instead. When asked about Doctor Who he referenced the strike. He did talk about Staged, which was not a prohibited topic.

The way my mother raised us, swearing is a sign of a poor vocabulary and a lack of imagination. So we actively came up with weird phrases
I mean, I do curse openly (not in front of my parents but relatively openly), but I love using curses from my favorite books, as well as creating some really really weird ones lol (Thanks to Pinterest ideas lol), and cursing in different languages
In Kingsley Amis' "Girl, 20" a character uses overworked, bogus phrases instead of cursing like ",Oh Christian GENTLEMAN"! (General Franco). I have been known to yell, "OH, compassionate conservatism"! (Remember George W. Bush?)
That may be the way you were raised, but multiple studies have actually shown that intelligent people with large vocabularies are just as likely, sometimes more, to swear. Studies also suggest that it improves mental health and longevity, as it releases a lot of tension.
