Reform UK 'Is Extremist Party' That 'Attracts Racists' Says Independent Journalist

- Reform UK, led by Nigel Farage, has faced criticism for controversial views and racist remarks made by some campaigners who have been booted from the party.
While some defend the party, others argue that its rapid formation and lack of vetting processes may have led to the inclusion of extremist elements.
Sean O'Grady, Associate Editor at The Independent, says Reform UK "is an extremist party, a hard-right, far-right organisation, it undoubtedly does attract people who are racist."
Nigel Farage has issued a statement after Reform UK kicked out campaigners over 'unacceptable' comments, following allegations set to be aired by Channel 4.

I have lots of decent friends who will be voting REFORM. We are not far right. We are not homophobic. We are not anti Muslims.

This is populism, a man of the people, and he knows how to woo them using nationalism, getting immigrants out etc which is attractive to the racist natives but being a great leader with statesmanship there is no way he would be able to make it. He is not a responsible person. He is too self obsessed, narcissistic and loves media attention and of course money. I have seen him talking to Murdoch and his clique and associating with them. You don't have to like Farage or Reform to see that effort by Sean O'Grady was 1 of the most blatantly obvious smear attempts we've seen in recent years, nationally.
I find it hard to believe you genuinely couldn't see it was very clearly a largely disingenuous journalist with a heavily biased agenda.
The 2 major parties have long attempted to remove any opposition with these same tactics before they have a chance to grow into anything significant. Like mud, these kind of attacks have always stuck in the past, genuine or not.
