Yeah, that phase 2 is kinda dumb. You do have to be inside the shield bubble to not take damage, but you're definitely not alone in being a little stumped and angry at that.
@@TheMockedy 5k players at all time peak is meeting its potential? ur kidding right? rogueelite could be incredibly satisfying for some people, i dont doubt that. but for most people its not and thats why i said it didnt meet its potential. it shouldve been like elden ring or elderscrolls with an dark and horror open world to explore and fight through. with alot of hidden unique items and things to find and craft/upgrade gear like in metro for example and level ur character and unlock perks like in elderscrolls. that wouldve gone through the roof with atleast hundreds of thousands sales. and then later on u can add some rogueelite modes to it, which is very easy content to make. but people and devs dont have visions and dont think outside of the box anymore.
Lets remember this is a small studio games like that take a much larger amount of muscle... Just because you don't like a genre of games doesn't make the game bad as a whole! Clearly there is an audience for games like this! For an indie dev team the game is doing quite well. The game is also in early access Elden Ring and Elder Scrolls have dev teams that are multi million dollar companies. The type of game you are describing is something on a level of a giant studio not a polish indie dev team. I understand the desire for something more but lets be charitable to what we have!
Enjoying the vibes my dude.
Godlike comment you're the homie

Atta lad good choice!

It's Def weird I was a bit surprised bc the game feels like it wants me to kite this guy but it's a learning thing haha
I cant understand why they made this game a rogueelite game. It had much more potential.
Roguelite are incredibly satisfying games.
It's in early access and has a 90% positive rating. Sounds like it's meeting it's potential.
