You're never to old to learn something. I am 66 and never Knew about extracting coconut water like that..... Interesting ..and was that Sister Sarah's voice I heard with the camera.. Awesome video {as always} XOXO
Tapping the seams of the de-husked coconut will rid the coconut of the brown shell so you can leave the meat in tact without smashing it into difficult to manage smaller pieces. I see you are rapidly approaching master class coconut chef level. Kudos. Having the coconut tree right in your back yard is a huge plus. The grocery store merchants charge huge amounts just for a bag of a few coconuts. I live in Nevada. They aren't always so fresh either; some are spoiled and you can't return them. I tried and got the look. Raw coconut milk smells wonderful and coconut milk is equally pleasant to make and drink. Leaves such a nice aroma throughout the house and kitchen. Enjoyed this video. Those derisive comments come from non-achievers, jealous and usually weak individuals. I can see you go to great lengths to take care of yourself. Good on you. Cheers. Keep up the great videos. Hey Jackie , Roly here. There are different methods of opening coconuts. But the great point that make it’s about coconut milk and the meat of the coconut, they so new truants for body. Just the milk it’s self it’s really good for your lever! And you grind the coconut meat and fried fish with it. There so many Cuban Recipe with coconut meat, you will enjoy them. Great video Jackie!
Hi Jackie, to get the nut peeled from the husk all we do is take two regular shovels back to back and stab the coconut and then pull the handles together and the husk pops right off in seconds like the grocery store coconuts !!! Try it and please video it and you will have quick naked coconuts !

I live out on an Island and the juice is healthy. When I cut open a coconut I cut it in half use a metal spoon to extract the meat of the coconut. Great video 👍🤙👌😎🇬🇺
So far I have been experimenting, I had my water in the fridge for a week and it was still really good on the 7th day...I'm not sure how much longer it will go but I'm sure it depends on how fresh it was when you took it also!

Coconut Water cleans out ur kidneys. If you get the young ones,we in Hawaii eat the young coconut meat,we call it spoon meat. And we mix it with carnation cream sugar,and crushed ice,its amazing!!!!!. Try it Jacki its amazing!!!!!🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙👌👌👌
When an Uncle of mine was in WWII he sent his Mom and Dad a coconut thru the mail. He wrote their name and address on a piece of paper and thumb tacked it to the coconut and they got it. They used it as a door stop for decades. I'm not sure what ever happened to it.
I can’t stand the smell or taste of coconut but I’m going to watch this again and again just in case I might like them later in life ! Keep it tight and keep all of your fingers!
