In fight,Trafalgar law couldn't use his devil fruit powers on big mom and kaido because of their immense haki in wano.

It was actually speculated for a long time that Sugar was one of the few characters that could beat the likes of Kaido, but We've since learned that those with strong enough haki can resist the effects of devil fruits used against them, so it wouldn't work.

The sing sing fruit is probably the best devil fruit. It took:
•All the straw hats ( including gear 5 luffy )
•All of Shank's crew ( arguably the strongest crew currently in one piece )
•Kizaru and Fujitora ( they are both marine admirals with the light and gravity fruit )
•A bunch of marines including Coby who has the 6 powers and good haki
•A few members of CP9 who have decent devil fruits and good haki
•A few members of the straw hat grand fleet including barto who can create barrios that are invincible but somehow uta broke it
They were all fighting together and barely won
Also uta didn't even have haki so it was all her devil fruit
but that was more so vs the demon Tot Musica, not vs Uta herself or her fruit power

To answer that question why not throw sugur at kaido and let her ability touch him and turn him into a toy it would not work because as we know now high tier haki can resist devil fruit abilities.

Really strong Haki can counter or prevent an opponent's devil fruit from effecting you, so someone like Sugar wouldn't be able to just turn someone like Kaido into a toy, unless her Haki was as strong as his or he was severely weakened, or possibly caught completely off guard. It makes sense when you consider that Haki can be used offensively as well to prevent an opponent's devil fruit from preventing damage, like when Logia users are hit with it.

I watched a few of your videos trying to decide if you were an anime watcher giving One Piece a chance, or if you are a hater just collecting subs off the passionateOne Piececommunity...... I decided that I'm entertained regardless, so I subbed. I didn't care for the show back in the 90s when I was a DBZ fan but I gave it another chance a few years ago and truthfully, no other show or literature in history can compare in my opinion. I hope you enjoy the ride. It gets deeper every 200 episodes or so. Just don't expect fast answers😂

Ifl Sugar's fruit is problematic. It doesn't really make sense to me for it to not be able to be countered by haki. But if it could be countered by haki, ome would think Don Chinjao could have countered it. That fruit feels problematic to me but just imo
