- Inside Singapore's newest hawker centre, Buangkok Hawker Centre. This new hawker centre is located inside Sengkang Grand Mall (which is also new) beside Buangkok MRT Station and has officially opened with 38 stalls and more than 700 seats. I wanted to try to spend $100 to support the hawkers and see what kind of food the hawker centre has to offer.

Hi Ghib,, oh that Fish mart sakuraya can deliver sushi too,, maybe will order it for celebration,, i alrdy tried the Sushiro, we order it, it was packed you see on xmas day, it was very nice the sushiro sushi,, that hawker food looks very nice, but to far from my place,, anyway 新年おめでとう御座います、今後ともよろしくお願いします🎉、日本🇯🇵 の 家族 にも よろしくお願いしますね🙇,, cant wait to kampai for the osake on jamuary1st,, 😅

Long queue at Munchies for the "mee jiang kueh" is actually a good thing for diners as demand exceeds supply and diners will be assured of freshly made hot items!
5:42 sorry to promote but that store and franchise was from my family and my nephew, age 20+++ a young hawker start up that store! Do support if u can! It was the same franchise where u did a punggol hawker video and said that the queue is too long!

Rendang is always a bit dry, in my experience. I shred it apart and mix it with the rice or noodles.
Do they have the charcoal skin Min Jiang Kueh? i tried the one at Gucco Tower inside Tanjong Pagar MRT and it is delicious.
Yes, they do have the charcoal skin Min Jiang Kueh at Munchies. It's really unique, and really delicious when paired with peanuts 👍🏻

It’s a new food court n the rent charged by this mall is high,so definitely the prices reflected this. The people in this neighbourhood will pay for the convenience , your gasoline cost will be much higher just to drive to another hawker centre to save a few cents.

Looks a lot better than One Punggol hawker
Penang's char kuey teow is the best version in my opinion. Anyone going to Penang, this is one of the must-have dishes along with the assam laksa or Penang laksa and nonya food. Also in Msia they have duck egg option. By the way, Encik Tan is pronounced like An-chick darn. Nowadays we see more of chain stalls from restaurants or same stalls opening in various food courts/hawker centres. Nam kee, Chef Wang, Encik, munchis.
Long queue may not always mean the food is great though. We don't usually spend more than $10 (per pax), $10 is on a high side already though it depends on what food you are buying. If there is only one drink stall in the "hawker centre", it means that it's like a privately run place like those kopitiam. i.e. high rental. Also you are not supposed to bring outside food/drink.
Had that on my first visit there. Don't understand why people say that it's nice . The worst Penang CKT I have ever had

I bet the people living close to this mall r willing to pay the price for convenience n eating in air con environment. Quit complaining, food cost every where is going up. Just don’t buy the bubble tea n u can afford a meal..

Food price like those Tze char, but quality and quantity are comparative bad. Wait for the table, long wait for food, expensive, high parking fee etc. I would rather take a MRT ride to another station to find my favorite food. Listen my advice, don't go to this hawker.

Capitaland is doing a lot of marketing for the hawker center. There's a lot of publicity but the bus interchange is not open yet.
If there are store closures, it isn't the team's fault cause this location is really quiet. So the bus interchange needs to open fast. And there isn't office space nearby. Not sure if the condo on top has Top yet. So...good luck... And if the rent is exorbitant, the stores will close even faster.
I know because even food stalls with good food has shuttered numerous time around here. Competition is fierce. This is a residential area with no office crowd.
The tiny foodcout near the small NTUC actually has really nice food and not enough attention.
The rental i heard is really cheap. $1500 only my mom told me lol
